Coolscuplting on the Nonathletic Body,- Thats Right I Did It on a Fat Stomach

Over the years I have packed 50 pounds from my youth to now over 40. With the majority of the weight in my upper torso. I am a classic V shape. At my skinniest I am still top heavy with never a flat stomach, I looked great in clothes. My legs are slim enough for bikini but the overly top and pouch was not something I was going to do. I've exercised at different intervals throughout the years as many of us do but after having endometriosis for the past 3 years you can imagine I didn't do much exercising. I am now fully recovered (through surgery) and I am ready to start exercising again. Knowing that my belly was a problem area I decided to try Coolsculpting to get me a jump and confidence boost. For my procedure we used the large tool in 4 areas on my abdomen and the tiny one under my chin. I am at day 16 and I have lost 2 inches off of my upper pouch and 1.5 off my lower. My upper pouch was bigger than my lower so I am happy with the progression so far. I have started eating more fish and less chicken and beef. Lets talk about the post pain. Everyone knows there is discomfort during the procedure. I've had 4 surgeries in the last 10 years to I am no stranger to pain. 2 days after the procedure the post procedure pain arrives with strange numbing, tingling, random stabbings and I was swollen for the first week. My clinic told me to take Tylenol and not ibuprofen or any anti-inflammatory drug. I read conflicting reviews on that on this site. There was only one day that I slipped and took Naproxen so i could attend a wedding without being annoyed by the sensations. Relief! after that I stuck with Tylenol and Benedryl for the itching. After 8 days I stopped taking anything. I am still a little number and there is some light period like pain when I push on my abdomen but nothing unbearable for my tolerance level. I don't plan to post pictures because, well, there are a lot of pictures on this site that give you the gist. Believe me I have a big belly but the clinic said that was not nearly the biggest one she did the procedure on. Now that I am feeling better I am going to start using a treadmill again and get back on track. I hope this review helps anyone who is looking for the details. Love Yourself, Enjoy Yourself, Be Yourself - even with a little coolsculpting help LOL.
