Gastric Sleeve Surgery
Q Am I going to lose all of my butt if I get sleeve gastrectomy after BBL?
A

Due to rapid weight loss after having gastric sleeve, you will experience some loss of muscle and fat, unfortunately there is no way to predict which areas will be more impacted. In our center In order to qualify for gastric sleeve your BMI should be 31 or higher.

Gastric Sleeve Surgery
Q What happens if your BMI drops while you’re waiting for surgery?
A

A person has to meet certain criteria in order to qualify for surgery. We require that our patients have a minimum of 31 BMI plus some medical conditions such as: diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and other diseases related to being obese.

With the gastric sleeve, we reduce the stomach´s volume from 80 up to 85% and after following  guidelines and a special post-op diet, our patients can expect to lose from 85 to 90% of their excess  weight.
