Hey all! I’m 39 years old, mom to 3 kids (ages 15,8,6) and sick of the way my tummy looks after having them. I’m currently 5’ 3.5” and 125 pounds. Before my first pregnancy I was 98 pounds for years. Gained 60 pounds with the first one, lost about 40 of it. Then gained 35 with each subsequent pregnancy. I was around 155 when I decided I needed a more permanent change. I started eating healthy and working out and now I bounce around between 123-128. My skin on my stomach, particularly around my belly button embarrasses me. I won’t wear a bikini even though I know I’m relatively fit. I stand in the mirror at least once a day and lift the skin on my tummy to remember what it looked like not wrinkled. I visited with two surgeons for a tummy tuck consult and in the end my anxiety about having such a huge procedure kicked in. I decided to try skin tightening instead. Enter Light RX. I swore I would document my results (or lack thereof) since I couldn’t find anything here on RS or the internet. I am 10 treatments into a 16 treatment plan. I can’t see much of a difference but my husband says he can. I am working out, eating well and drinking a lot of water which is what I think I am seeing results from. I’ll add the photos I have so far. Updated on 3 Dec 2017: Adding photos of week 1, 3, 5 and 10. I will continue to update weekly from here. Light RX is telling me if I get SculpSure on my abdomen coupled with another Legacy on my flanks to pull the skin to the sides too that will help with the creasing in my belly button. The reviews I have been able to find on SculpSure have me worried to try it. Updated on 30 Apr 2018: I finished my treatments and when we took my after photos (4 weeks after my last treatment) my stomach looked WORSE than when we started. I have been working out 5-6 times a week, eating a very specific way to obtain certain physique goals and drinking tons of water. The more fat I cut the more wrinkles my stomach has. Light RX was upset with my results and offered me a free SculpSure treatment to treat the fat around my belly button and another 8 Legacy Treatments with a different wand (with no suction and more heat) to try to get results. I honestly still don’t see much of a difference. I will update with my final photos when my last treatments are done. So far I think I wasted A LOT of money. Updated on 6 Dec 2018: The treatments did not improve the appearance of my skin one bit. They did tofree treatments on me one was for fat loss and then they did another eight rounds of the Venus legacy and none of it worked. I am a personal trainer and nutritionist so I know that exercise and nutrition help but they do not smooth out skin that has been stretched as far as mine. Based on other reviews I had read I knew going in that I had a 50-50 shot. I was really hoping for better results for the money. I was actually wondering at one point if my Mirena IUD was inhibiting my results as I was having hosts of other issues. I finally just had that removed last week. I doubt skin will change. Bottom line. Venus Legacy is bogus!
