In general 1-2 syringes per cheek to start. It all depends on the patient. As we age we have bone loss, our fat pads loose fullness, and we can have some generalized sagging skin. This can give us the fullness in the lower face and prominent nasolabial folds (lines from nose to mouth), along with all of this we can have a less prominent jaw line and jowels. The individuals shape of face, volume in the cheeks, and age all are part of the assessment for what will work best and how much is needed. Someone who is quite thin may need smaller amounts. When adding to the cheek you can really soften the nasolabial folds. You can always add additional filler at a follow up appointment. Some people may require 1/2 syringe on each side, others may require 4 syringes. Remember 4 syringes is a little less then a teaspoon!
