I'm on my 3rd round (paid for 10) and with each session I notice more of a difference. The hairs are thinner, lighter, or non existent or they simply take much longer to grow in and when they do its finer hair. Either way: it works. What I do want to say is the location matters. My good friend did the Palo Alto location and she has zero hair after 6 sessions. She and I have/had similar body hair so I knew what I was in for. She let me know: it hurts. Feels like a rubber band snapping your skin, the air smells like burnt hair, and it hurts more each time. All valid points in my experience. However, I used the burlingame location bc of its close proximity to my home. Well... no more. I'll be driving 30 mins to palo alto moving forward. Here's my experience: My first session: no pain, took about 40 mins total. I got my entire lower body done. The lady was quick and efficient. Second session: HOLY MACK ITS PAINFUL. I fully expected some pain but this was SO bad I cried (involuntarily) and it didn't help that the nurses bedside manner was awful. She literally kept commenting on how "sensitive" I am and how she never experienced this. Uhm... this isn't about you and your experience, I'm paying you to be here not the other way around. **eye roll** Worse: the hair fall out and thinning didn't seem to occur over the next 6 weeks. 3rd session: I get a text the morning of "your appt has been cancelled, please call blah, blah, blah to reschedule". I call the office, no answer. I call the 800#, they basically let me know the office closed and the nurse isn't there and no one's there to answer the phone. The closest appointment was two days away and in Palo alto (30 min drive for me). I take it bc I need to make sure it's scheduled within my cycle (if no one told you, don't schedule it on the back half of the month.) 3rd session in Palo Alto: amazing. The nurse was patient. I told her about my last experience and was nervous it would hurt even more. It didn't. To my surprise it was only a little more than the first session. And the hair continued to fall out and I'm seeing results again. So whatever that second nurse did, she did something wrong. Posted photos of my hair (control site) over my tattoos where they couldn't laser, and the opposite ankle where there is no tattoo and I haven't shaved in over a month now. Enjoy!
I’m struggling to articulate how I feel about this situation. Essentially, I have proof of what I paid for, but I was denied the service and experienced deceptive practices. The Botox units I purchased were taken by the staff and used elsewhere, with false claims made that they were applied to my face. A dermatologist confirmed that such a quantity couldn't have been used. Additionally, I was subjected to verbal abuse and gaslighting for merely requesting clarification. I have decided to sever ties with this organization. Despite my requests for them to stop, they have continued to harass me through phone calls and emails, prompting me to file a restraining order. I am perplexed by their actions and their refusal to stop their harassment.
