Botox is, of course, a treatment for fine lines and wrinkles and while Botox is more preventative than restorative. The active ingredient in Botox would “freeze” facial muscles to keep you from contracting them in ways that deepen lines and wrinkles. After a treatment of Botox, if any lines are still present at rest, whether it is an etched in frown line, or a deep wrinkle, is not going to disappear with Botox. This concern would be more addressed with dermal fillers as they are used to fill in "etched" lines on the forehead and frown lines made by constant muscle movement. Keep in mind Botox and dermal fillers while they are injectables, they serve different purposes but a combination of both would bring great results. Another point to address would be the strength of the Botox injected and if it was injected too superficial or not?
