This was a promo package with cryo, laser & emsell chair for butt tightening. The cryo was fine. The laser has me looking like a bright pink zebra even a week later. The chair did little. My skin is still so red, splotchy & itchy I have sent photos & asked for help by text and email 6 times. Not a peep! Terrible service after the fact! I’m concerned this may cause scarring or skin cancer.
Whewww grab your coffee because this is going to be a doozy. First off, I despise writing negative reviews. Nearly all the reviews I write are positive because I believe yelp is designed to kill small business. However, when you receive the service I just did, I feel morally obliged to warn anyone interested in doing business with this company to read on. I follow 904 Happy Hour on Instagram like most people in Jacksonville. They posted an advert for laser loft that if you followed them that day you’d get $150 credit toward services so of course I did. You never know when you’ll be in need of a facial. I did think it was odd that there was no expiration date or list of services.. plus how would they know what day I started following them but I figured it was just a way to get people in the door and gain some massive followers. Fast forward a few weeks and I notice they are offering permanent BB cream foundation. The before and afters looked amazing and who wouldn’t want to skip that daily routine? I looked into it further as well as the company. I had an IPL photo facial at the south side location that did nothing and the experience was lackluster in general so I never went back. I started looking at reviews of the company and honestly they were probably 85% negative. The one concern that was in most reviews was that once they got your money you could never get in for an appointment. They are only open banking hours which makes it hard but not answering phones, missing appointments that clients were promised, lots of rescheduling, that kind of thing. Still... I wanted it. I inquired online on their website with no response. After some time I called... on multiple occasions... to ask questions with no answer. I finally left a voicemail but they didn’t return my call for 5 days. I reached out on Instagram and received a message back the next night at 8:45pm. Kinda weird but I was awake so it worked out. The person I was talking to seemed sweet but then it definitely seemed I was talking to different people and it got confusing. Anyway... they finally got “approval” to book me at 5:30. I was still going to have to leave work early but again, I wanted it. Here’s where things REALLY took a turn for the worse. I came in a few minutes early, filled out all the paperwork except for the page where you sign off that you agree that no matter the circumstance if you purchase anything with them you will never receive a refund. That’s absurd. I then waited to be seen. Around 5:55 (35 minutes later and 25 minutes past my “special approved time” I was asked to the front desk by “Mary”. I use quotes because I doubt that’s her real name... will get to that in a minute. Mary called me up to ask “how was I going to do the make up?” Huh? Basically she was asking if I was going to purchase one or several sessions. I was completely honest with her and told her I had reservations about the reviews about not being able to schedule appointments. She looked at me so condescendingly and said “that’s just not true”. Ok well you have hundreds of other people that felt the need to review you and say otherwise. I told her we work about the same hours so it is already difficult. I told her I’d do this one and see how it goes. She also mansplained to me that they are open normal hours for a medspa... little did she know that I too work at a medspa and we’re open evenings and Saturdays so I kindly corrected her. If you want business, maybe start by being open when people that can afford your services are actually available to buy... just sayin big missed opportunity. Then she said she’d never work Saturdays... as if I was lesser than for working Saturdays. She also very rudely asked “if you work in a medspa why are you here?” Excuse me?? I’m here because we obviously don’t provide the service I was there to get. Ok Mary just take my money and let me never have to talk to you again. That’s when I told her about the $150 credit from following on Instagram. She fumbled around for a bit and asked me to take a seat. She came back out and said that her medical director said no. Huh? That’s literally what got me in the door to be a customer. She said that was a promotion from 8 months ago and only included certain services... first off it was in February, there was no expiration, and no exclusion on services. Now I’m getting real heated. There was not even an apology. It just is what it is. She said they no longer do business with 904 because they’re bad to do business with or something very tacky like that. I said that’s pretty shitty (because hello it was!!) but whatever and handed her my credit card. She then has the audacity to say that they were not going to provide the service to me because I’m not going to be happy and I used profanity. Excuse me what?!?!? This was the most bizarre interaction I have ever had. I asked to speak with the director that had just told her no but he was conveniently with a client. Big multi tasker I guess. That’s when I told her I’d be writing this review and she said her name was “Mary”. Maybe it is but she was so shady I find anything she said hard to believe. The directors name is Rafael. Interested to see if I get a snarky response like I’ve seen on other people’s reviews. So unprofessional and what a waste of my time. I will find another business that offers this service and actually likes to make their clients happy. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
