I see answers to this question that are not quick accurate. some answers are years old. so maybe an update is needed. i do a high volume of PRP in my practice. almost as much as neurotoxins.. and i'm presidential level. plasma (PRP) should not be compared to the effects of a dermal fillers. one fills (filler), the other rejuvenates (PRP). so they shouldn't be compared really. the vampire "facelift" is not really a facelift, but a lift in the sense of tightening and lifting with the addition of a dermal filler. that is what separates the vampire "facelift", with the "vampire facial." facelift consists of the PRP injected with the addition of 1+cc's of a dermal filler. The vampire facial does not include a filler, and the PRP is all micro-needled in. personally, i do a combination of both. i inject the plasma as well as micro-needle, especially when i'm not injecting a filler. under the eyes it's smooth as glass with beautiful rejuvenation. and there is AMPLE evidence of the safety (10's of 1000's of studies). i'd compare the efficacy with any RF or laser., there is LESS risk, less complications, less recovery time, less swelling, and if you're bruising patients with microneedling, you're doing it wrong. concentration of plasma is everything. regen kits you're not getting the proper concentration. in fact, lucky if it gets to baseline.

with fillers, i've never seen 1cc of voluma last 2 years. just does NOT happen. unless they inject 6-8 syringes like they did in the in-house study. imo, voluma lasts as long as the other juvederm's and restylane's.. At 1 min & 28sec, there are pics of what the vamp facelift & facial should look like. hope this helps... ;)

Dermal Fillers
Q I’m thinking of cheek fillers to slightly lift my face and add just a little more volume to cheeks. Advice? (photos)

Hi, you can easily go with 1cc of Dermal filler at first. Either a Restylane Lyft or Voluma for the cheek area. Or even Radiesse which will have 50% more volume in the syringe. BUT have them use a cannula. Much safer, less chance of bruising. See how it looks, then go back for the 2nd treatment after.

Belotero
Q Had Belotero under the eyes and Voluma after that. Now have malora edema from fillers. Treatment options?
A

Typically belotero should be enough. Adding voluma you're asking for trouble. Like what you're dealing with now. The bluish tint you're probably seeing won't go away anytime soon.

Have them dissolve it. If they are not sure how, Don't hesitate to find someone else.

Botox
Q I have some pretty severe forehead lines. Would Botox even help? (photos)
A

Hi, this problem you are having is because you're raising your frontalis muscle. it's the muscle that raises your eyebrows - as if you are surprised. Years of repetition subsequently causes the creases. Start with botox 15 units, or 25-30 units of Dysport. That should help. You'll see the etched in lines start to fade. Might need 1, 2 or 3 treatment sessions to see significant reduction in the etched in lines. Frontalis will be quiet after initial treatment.
