Your pictures make it very easy to assess your anatomy.&nbsp; It is so normal that women are not sure of what they need but usually know what they want.&nbsp; Find a surgeon who understands your wants and can dictate this into what procedure would best serve you.&nbsp;
I believe a trim-method labiaplasty would best serve your need to have less skin. Your clitoral hood actually looks good except, as a surgeon I would make sure to taper it into the labia at it's insertion to allow a smooth transition.&nbsp; You don't need much of a trim there.&nbsp; The pigmentation will be lessened with less skin but will bot be totally gone.&nbsp; There are skin lightening agents that my patients have used with some success 2-3 months after surgery to help the surrounding tissue.&nbsp;

Hi! I would like to make my vagina more pleasing for me to look at. I was thinking a labia minora reduction. What about clitoral hood reduction? Also, what can i do to lighten my skin right there? It looks pretty dark compared to the rest of my body.

Great Question.&nbsp; there are alot of new technologies out there and women are so confused.
I always would like to get a long term result for my patient , if possible, so she does not have to come in for maintenance costly treatments. &nbsp;
If, however ,&nbsp; time off is a problem, or the condition is not a surgical problem, there are many great options for women with some amazing results.
I do both Co2 laser and RF (ThermiVA) and for the issues you are describing,&nbsp; the ThermiVA would be what I would recommend.
I , too, agree with the physician that said,&nbsp; see a physician that can help you make a medically sound, informed decision.

What's the difference between ThermiVa and CO2 fractional lasers for vaginal rejuvenation?

First of all, it is very common for labia to not match even in women who have not had surgery.&nbsp;
It appears some distortion occurred from your hematoma or some element of the surgery.
It is unlikely that all of this will correct but it is too soon to assess whether you will need a revision.
Be patient and get through the healing process, AT LEAST 3 months before deciding if something needs to be corrected.&nbsp; Minor revisions can most often be carried out in the office under local anesthesia.

I am 2 days shy of 4 weeks post op... I am ery concerned about my right Labia where th hematoma happened. It’s so ugly and looks abnormal. Will be smooth out and be symmetric?

Short answer, Yes,&nbsp; it is recommended.&nbsp; In the data about 70% patients return,&nbsp; I think some are not sexually active any more, some choose other treatments and some are not ready for the touch-up.&nbsp; In my experience women who are more sexually active seem to maintain the vaginal responsiveness they are looking for.&nbsp; Most women notice when the bothersome symptoms are returning and that is the time to come in for a touch up.&nbsp; It can range from 6 months to 1/1/2 years in the patients we are treating.&nbsp;
Women are getting great results.&nbsp; I highly recommend it.&nbsp;

The change you are looking for is a cellular change that takes time.&nbsp; The ThermiVa works by stimulating a regeneration of of new tissue/blood flow/nerves that allows for a more sensitive/responsive vagina.&nbsp; Initially there can be drying due to the heat.&nbsp; The initial change women see is temporary.&nbsp; The lasting changes takes time.&nbsp; Be patient, stay the course.&nbsp; Make sure the lubricants you are using are lubricating and I recommend, organic.&nbsp; Avoid chemicals. &nbsp;

I had my first session of 3, thermiVa 2 days ago. They showed me before and fter photos and I saw no change except redness,. However, I did not go for the outer as I have not had children, do not suffer from leakage. What I went for was vaginal dryness and there is absolutely no change. Is it too early yet? I have read on this site so many women saw immediate change and I was so looking forward to moisture. Now I feel dry and irritated and need topical moisture.
