14 Q&A

Q: I had SculpSure done on my lower abdomen, it has been over twelve weeks and no results, should I get a second treatment?
Answered by Daniele TarantinoJanuary 25, 2019

A: When treating a patient with SculpSure, we always recommend at least 2 treatments to the area for optimal results.  It is best if these treatments are done six weeks apart. You can expect to see your results 6-12 weeks after your final treatment.

Even if you did not feel pain or heat during the treatment, you can still achieve desired results.

Q: Am I a good candidate for CoolSculpting or SculpSure if I am 30 lbs overweight?
Answered by Daniele TarantinoJanuary 25, 2019

A: SculpSure is best for patients with a BMI under 30 (you can find BMI calculators online).

We recommend patients use SculpSure to treat targeted areas of stubborn fat.  We often see patients towards the end of their weight loss journey to help "sculpt" areas that healthy diet and exercise cannot.

SculpSure works best when the patient maintains a healthy lifestyle and exercise routine.

Q: Will SculpSure work on my belly? (Photos)
Answered by Daniele TarantinoJanuary 25, 2019

A: Thank you for your question.  SculpSure is great at treating stubborn fat that diet and exercise cannot target.

You can expect to see up to a 24% reduction in fat when treated with SculpSure, but you should expect multiple treatments.

We encourage you to continue with your healthy diet and exercise to see the best results.

I recommend you see a physician for an in person consultation to see if this treatment is best for you.

Q: How likely is migration/ adverse effects from doing exercise 18 hours after Botox injection to the upper forehead?
Answered by Daniele TarantinoJanuary 25, 2019

A: Working out 18 hours after being treated with Botox is fine.  I usually recommend my patients don't workout for 4-5 hours after their treatment.  You will also want to avoid rubbing the treated area or lying down.

Q: Candidate for botox lip flip? Can Botox in the lip muscle cause a protruded effect and bring forth the fullness? (photo)
Answered by Daniele TarantinoJanuary 25, 2019

A: The Botox lip flip relaxes the muscle above the lip, allowing the lip to "flip" and create more visible surface area, giving the appearance of larger lips. It provides great results for patients like you who already have full lips.

Botox lip flip uses a very small amount of Botox (4-9 units) and requires a touch up every 2-3 months to maintain results.
