I wanted to do something about forehead wrinkles but did not want anything drastic or unnatural. I went ahead with some reservations . One week in and both eyes have lid droop. I am very sorry & disappointed.
If you are considering any kind of Injectable administered by Dr. Nazareth I STRONGLY urge you NOT to. I got Kybella (the ONLY FDA approved drug to melt fat) done with him, my first round in February 2021 and my second in April 2021. By July I noticed some unevenness and remaining fat under my chin and contacted the office to consult for a third treatment. Dr. Nazareth advised that sometimes when the fat cells die the solidify and become fibrous. He advised that Kenalog can be administered in a shot to the lumps to break it up.I trusted he knew best, despite my tissue being soft and not hard and cystic. Within a few days my skin began to sink in all over and I went from having lumps, to dents. I didn't think much of it because at the time, I didn't understand what was happening and thought perhaps it was normal and would spring back in a couple of days. I made a 4 week follow up appointment with them and advised that my skin looked uneven still and I was unhappy. His solution was to inject MORE kenalog. I again trusted him and sadly I shouldn't have. I had a strange feeling something wasn't right and when I got home I did an internet search on what Kenalog was.Kenalog is a very powerful steroid injection used for cystic acne or keloid scarring. If too much is injected, or if it is injected into healthy tissue, the tissue can atrophy. And that is precisely what happened to me. I called the office and they told me it was normal and to massage it. I consulted with another injector a week later and she confirmed I had significant atrophy, she had NEVER heard of Kenalog being used with Kybella before, and advised that oftentimes this kind of atrophy is permanent.I contacted Dr. Nazareth's office again and the spa coordinator called me back, not him. She advised she is not familiar with the effects of Kenalog but wanted to see me for herself to see if there could be anything done. I advised I do not trust the office any longer and I wanted my money back. They refused and kept bullying me into trying an additional treatment. It's been a month and there has still been no improvement.I had a consultation with a plastic surgeon and was advised that kenalog atrophy is typically permanent but SOMETIMES can spontaneously resolve. The surgeon told me I would need to wait 6 months to a year before doing anything further because additional treatments can cause more harm than good. So I have to continue to walk around consciously aware of this disfigurement for several more months and pray that I am one of the lucky few that has spontaneous resolution. In addition to my face being potentially permanently disfigured, this Kybella treatment cost me $2800 for 2. This is about 1.5 times more expensive than competitive medical spas. I would have been ok with paying the additional amount as I trusted this dermatologist, but I was sadly mistaken. They are refusing to give me my money back and the doctor has absolutely no idea what he is doing when it comes to this injection and I urge you to please reconsider!!
At the time of the procedure I was 5"2 & 115lbs with avery small lower belly bulge. The clinic recommended 1 -2 treatments and offered me a discount if I purchased 2. It sounded amazing so I got the two. The procedure itself was uncomfortable at times, a little painful, but very tolerable. After the procedure, i looked bloated and had some discomfort for about 2 wks. I waited & waited for the day to disappear....but it never happened. This is what happened....the shape of my stomach completely changed!!!! I have a big indent where the machine was, an increase in cellulite & that small bulge I had has doubled in size!!!! This bulge used to be non-existent if i sucked in my stomach....after the treatment, when I suck in my stomach, the bulge stays put and the indent in my stomach causes it to have two bumps; instead of looking flat!!! It completely changed the look of my stomach, which I now hate!! I've increased my exercise regime & started a clean diet in hopes of changing the way it looks. Other areas of my body have responded, but the are where the machine was put had not. It's been over a year and I will not complete the second treatment. A refund would not be given, but I did get a credit for any other services offered. I feel so turned off by the experience that I have not used the credit. I DO NOT recommend coolsculting. If you have very little fat to get rid of, try a personal trainer. I wish I had.
