IPL Got Rid of my Dark Spot

I had a really big sun spot on the side of my face. I've tried to get rid of it with hydroquinone and peels but nothing worked. I finally decided to give IPL a go. I was given numbing cream to put on my face before I went for the treatment. I numbed up 45 minutes before. The actual treatment was painful, but not too terrible. My face afterwards was really red and it felt like a sunburn. I put in some sunscreen and foundation and it wasn't too noticeable. Over the next few days my skin turned brown in the damaged spots and finally sloughed off. And voila! No more giant brown spot. I am now being super careful with my sunscreen and hiding from the California sun. Thinking about getting one more treatment to clear up the tiny bit of damage still left. I'm very pleased with my results.
