I have been researching and praying for a reduction and a lift for many years. After being denied by the insurance company several times, I have decided to pay out of pocket and I am using a wonderful Dr recommended by a breast specialist. I am a few days away from surgery and I am excited, anxious and a tad nervous. I want to post about my experience so that I can inspire others as they have inspired me! I will post again the night before! See 'ya soon. Updated on 28 May 2018: I've never felt comfortable in my own skin. For the past few years I've been researching the breast reduction procedure and searching for the perfect surgeon. I found the most amazing surgeon who came highly recommended by my medical team. I finally found the courage and had the money, so I did it! It's day 4 and it's actually not been as bad as I anticipated. Today has been the worst day, mostly because she removed the tape that was holding them up yesterday. Now I feel more pressure and slight pain. I'm highly impressed with my progress and overjoyed with my physician and her staff! Dr Geppart and her team have far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend them to anyone. I was treated like royalty and the fact that she has her own surgical suite was the icing on the cake. I was top priority and received the best care possible. Harbour Plastic Surgery in League City is the best of the best. I am so happy with my results. They are the perfect shape already and so perky. Updated on 12 Jun 2018: I am doing well and it is amazing how much better my neck feels! I am able to wear a snug sports bra so that is much more comfortable. I do miss sleeping on my belly but it is a cheap price to pay for feeling and looking better. I urge anyone considering this surgery to go for it. Do your research and find a qualified and pleasant physician that makes you feel comfortable. Mine is amazing! I am going to post my 24 hour post ops and then on the 29th I am completely healed on the outside now but I want her to take the pics at her office where the lighting is better. My sutures have been out a week but I still had some slight scabbing at my 2 week visit, so we will wait for pics. I had maybe 4 drops of blood the day after on a gauze pad and that has been it! I was very thankful for no drains as well.
