Love my results , can’t wait to do round 2 :) I felt nothing and I was awake . My doctors was so kind and so caring love him! I feel great now it’s and only been 3 days . I am ready to show off this new body but I have to recover first but I am just so excited . Best feeling I ever felt in such a long time .
I’ve had the best experience with Goals! I’ve been going to them for a while now for my post op services and everyday my body just gets better and better ! The staff are very helpful and informative, they make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. If I could give 10 starts I would. And YES ! I would recommend Goals to any and everyone looking to be their best selves !!
This is just a super quick review, I’ll update it later. I’m 22 years old and had Lipo 360 by Dr. Perkins on 3/7/21 and I couldn’t be happier with my results. I’ll add photos later since I haven’t taken any post-op yet due to the healing process and swelling, but I had BAD love handles/hip dips that exercise can’t get rid of, only reduced, and my boyfriend recommended I come here since he’s from NY and he’s known multiple people, including family, who have gone. They’re completely gone and I am SNATCHED. They know what they’re doing, especially Dr. Perkins for Lipo. I read soooooo many reviews for Goals, and yes, the negative ones did worry me, but having now gone through it I think unfortunately some of the women didn’t keep up with aftercare, or didn’t even know to (I’ll go into more detail on an updated post), or aren’t used to New York personalities. They’re very quick and to the point, they see a LOT of women so they can’t spend as much one on one time with you. You do see your surgeon right before the surgery, yes you’re on medication but I was still able to communicate. He already knows what to do, if you go with Perkins, so if you want to bring a reference you can, but he won’t sit down with you and go over every little detail because he does Lipo all the time and by now can look at a woman and know exactly what she needs, so be prepared for that. Being awake during it is honestly not that bad. If you’ve had a tattoo, that’s close to what the numbing process is like, and it is uncomfortable but I’m a big fucking baby and I didn’t cry because the meds made me not care. After that, you feel the pressure and it’s weird but not painful. They really appreciate you not moaning a whole lot and whining, they know it sucks but it worries them if you’re making too much noise, and it seems it just makes their job a little easier when they can just focus on giving you a banging body (at least for Lipo 360, I can’t vouch for BBLs since I didn’t get one or any fat transfers). Please do your research on aftercare and what to expect during the healing process, they give you an aftercare booklet but you’re much more prepared when you do that research ahead of time, otherwise, the healing process will catch you off guard. All in all, if you understand New York attitudes, pace, and personalities, and be understanding and patient to their busy workload, they’re easy to work with and I really did have a pleasant experience and interactions with staff, in person and email/phone always got responses and they would call me to check up on healing and if I had questions before the procedure. I would 100% recommend Goals if someone wants Lipo 360 since that’s all I can personally speak on, because they gave me the body I knew I always had underneath what made me insecure, and now I finally feel free of something that’s bothered me all my life. Good luck!
Hey guys! So I did the procedure of lipo 360/BBL at goals plastic surgery in NYC. My surgeon was amazing, and I am happy with my results from him. However, please please please read this review and believe every word I say: I went to them back in September of 2019. I put down $500 as the initial deposit and when I went they were running a promotional price of $5000 for lipo 360/bbl. I was under the impression that is the price I would be paying but my BMI was at 34 at the time. Veronica (my patient coordinator) advised me of high BMI procedures meaning anyone with a BMI of 30.5-31.5. I accepted and the cost was now $6500. Again, I paid this price because of promotional pricing for high BMI procedures. She told me to lose 10 lbs. And my BMI would be in the range of 30.5-31.5 and I would be good to go. So we fast forward a little, I signed the contract (they rushed me to do so! And stupid error on my part) I went home and I started my weight loss journey. My initial surgery date was for next September but I was told when I pay in full I will be allowed to reschedule my surgery date. So I got everything paid in full by March of 2019 and my new date is 3/23/19. In the contract, it stated that I had to have blood work, and a physical done one month prior, so I did as I was asked. Up to this point I hadn't had any issues, but it was way too soon to speak. When I went to do the bloodwork with them ( I don't have insurance and they charged me $180) they told me my BMI was too high, I had lost the weight they asked and I was in the range for high BMI. The lady helping me then pulled up my contract and said look here it says in this clause your BMI needs to be below 30. So I calmly explained to her that I paid for the high BMI procedure and she proceeded to get veronica who just looked at it and said yes. Nowhere was it noted that the contract was wrong, they just told me that I was ok because they know the price I paid was for high BMI. So I left the office that day thinking I would be ok. Moving forward, two days before my surgery ny went into lockdown because of COVID. I received a call from them stating that my surgery would need to be rescheduled. This rescheduling on their end happened 3x! When I finally got the surgery date of 7/8/20 it has now been 3 months time. My weight at this point is still good my BMI was 30.6. So I go to the preop appointment two weeks before (now in the contract it says two days before, I called the confirm this and some random lady told me no, they do two preop appointments, so whatever I go) and turns out I don't need to be there! The pre-op lady felt bad and said I will take your weight just to make sure you are good. At this appointment, my BMI was again 30.6. She then proceeds to tell me that I am above the 30.0 marks and they were going to cancel my surgery. So again I explained that I paid for the high BMI, so she said ok and assured me that I was good to go. Now we are one week before my surgery and I go to the real pre-op appointment and I had to do COVID testing which they made me pay for, and they then proceeded to tell me that my blood work was now invalid because of how much time passed due to COVID. Now the issue wasn't giving them more blood, the issue is why are you waiting until one week before to say this to me! And try to charge me another $180? So I refused to pay and they got their manager involved who waived the fee for the bloodwork but then tried to cancel my surgery and ask for more money because of my BMI. I kept trying to explain that I paid for high BMI but it turns out the stupid girl veronica gave me an outdated contract!!!! So now they want me to adhere to the rules of this contract, told me I can keep my scheduled date, and the price but I should try and lose 5 lbs. In 5 days! First of all, I was told not to diet two weeks before surgery, and now I'm being told to lose 5 lbs in 5 days! I left the office upset but they have no refund policy and I didn't want to lose any money. So, I lost the weight, fast-forwarding again. The day of surgery: My original surgery time was for 11 am. I received a phone call at 12:22 am (like literally the middle of the night) telling me my surgery has been moved up to 8 am. Ok, w /e slight inconvenience but I made arrangements and was there on time. My boyfriend drove me and when we got there the "Nurse" who came out had no idea why I was there so early and tried to make me leave! When they finally figured out who called me in the middle of the night they gave me all my stuff and medications to take and I spoke to another "Nurse" about weight/allergies/and other questions. This was the only part of this process that wasn't bad: The surgeon was dr. Vega, he did an amazing job, very polite, took his time and answered all my questions. My issue was not with the surgeon at all!. Moving on: they prescribe you with antibiotics, pain meds, and a Xanax for the day of surgery. These idiots only sent my antibiotics and Xanax to the pharmacy so I had no pain meds! It wasn't until two days after my procedure that they fixed this issue. Now: the day after is the first drainage, I went, had no issues, made a few more appointments for massages I had already paid for in full as part of a post-op package. After the first drainage, they gave me the faja and I was told I wouldn't get the second one that I already paid for until two weeks! Now my issue with that, in the contract it says if we don't bring in all our stuff we have to pay the extra money, so if I make the mistake I have to pay, but when they make the mistake no one is accountable? Now: 4 days after my surgery I got sick, fever, chills, nausea, heartburn. I just didn't feel good. When I brought this to their attention, they wouldn't let me speak to a doctor, just the head of the post-op department. She told me that my not feeling well wasn't due to the surgery, that she didn't see any infection. She told me that she would call me every day to check up on me and that my doctor was changing my antibiotics. They never called! And they never changed my antibiotic. The only call I received was from Sylvia (post-op manager) and that was in regards to me taking the same antibiotic that I was on. At this point, it had been three days that I didn't feel well so again I have no insurance and no primary care doctor, soo I took myself to the emergency room. Long story short, I spent the entire night in the er and they told me I was ok, just allergic to the antibiotic they gave me ( the same one these idiots advised me to continue to take). They gave me anti-nausea medication and I felt better with the days to come. Moving forward: I went back for my massages ( I had purchased 10) after my 5th time I was no longer draining, it was time for contouring. These stupid girls spaced out the rest of my massages for 1 a week! How is someone supposed to take care of themselves with a schedule like that? I didn't want to develop fibrosis so I had to find another aesthetician to do the massages for me, so I had to purchase more massages on top of the ones I paid for! I still have not received my second faja, (had to purchase another one!) the one I'm wearing is too big and my results won't be the best because they suck at the aftercare part, their excuse was we don't have any mediums, but again in my contract, it states that this stuff is purchased for you soooo where is my stuff???? This place is like a warehouse, they treat you like a number and don't care what happens after you pay them and the surgery happens. They never answer the phone, it takes them 3 days to contact you back and they literally feed you a fairytale. Please please please ladies, I am not making any of this up, I am writing this review to hopefully help someone out in not making the mistake I made. If I knew then what I know now, I would have spent the extra money and went somewhere else where they would do the proper aftercare. On top of all that: they don't even do the massages right! They play with you for like 20 min, cavitation for like 6 min, and take pictures and tell you that you are done. The place that I purchased separate massages from spends more than 6 minutes on cavitation. I am just so upset with their customer service and their lack of attention that I deserve considering I paid for all this stuff. I am now to the point where I just want my second faja and I don't even want the fake massages they do, and I am taking a loss on about $800. I also purchased 4 carboxy therapy but I can't wait for an appointment every two weeks. The aftercare is the most important part and they don't care to do it right. They take your money and treat you like [RealSelf bleep]. I don't like that I can't ever get in contact with anyone, I had to purchase more things outside of the package I paid for and once they even called and canceled one of my messages because they were so overbooked. The stupid dumb girls that sit there and overbook the staff are not my fault! My results shouldn't be tampered with because they don't know how to do their job. To wrap up: please ladies take your money and go elsewhere!!! I am not the only one who complains about this stuff, I am the only one who doesn't care about the clause in the contract saying I can't write stuff on the internet. I am not defaming them, I am telling the truth about my experience and countless other women's experiences. They post reviews all the time, don't fall into the hype! The reviews are either bought or put up but their own staff. I will not recommend them to anyone nor will I spend any more money there! They sell you a dream, always posting stuff about oh come every day for a massage, all of it is bs because they don't let you come every day! They are a scam for money! I really do hope this helps someone, and trust me, ladies, I saw some reviews and I chose to ignore them. I shouldn't have! Please take my experience and do better!
So, I booked a virtual consult , explained that I had a blood clot in 2000 the lady said oh you’ll be fine that’s long ago blah blah, long story short. She took my deposit $500 , they told me to have a medical clearance completed 30 days before which I did, my hematologist and pcp cleared me and did all necessary blood work. Goals harassed me to pay half survey 30 days before procedure, I paid. They already had my clearance they confirmed it, 2 weeks before my surgery I get a call from some lady saying my surgery has been cancelled and they will contact me in 7 days for refund. 3 weeks later no refund and they say that they will keep my deposit. I was going to fight this but I just give up. I just feel like they get deposits from ppl and then keep it no matter the situation even when they cancel the procedure after you’ve followed all steps. So I’m down 3500 hoping that they give me the 3,000 back at least m. I really think that they do this to so many girls it’s sad
I will be getting my surgery at goals plastic surgery on DEC 2019. I was originally going with Dr.Perkins but after the reviews I've seen I was thinking Dr. K or Dr. lyons in the same facility. Please advise! Updated on 7 Apr 2020: I am 8 weeks post op, here are my before and after pics. Surgery with Dr. Lyons. I had my surgery on February 3rd, 2020. I did like 15 massages and my stomach is still a little hard, my butt ifs starting to get soft but I still feel a lil hardness. Overall the pain was not that bad but I do have a very high pain tolerance. Updated on 18 Dec 2020: If you're not going with Voskin, dont get your body done here. Regardless, The facility is a huge mess, not organized at all. They dont even follow up with you, I had to reach out to them for the 3 months post op appointment and they still don't care to message me back and its been almost a year. They are just so unorganized and give you the wrong information. NEVER AGAIN!
