I would not let anyone else touch my lips!

Dr Standefer and the entire staff at Fresh Image are all so wonderful and professional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my cosmetic needs. However, I’d like to give a special shout out to PA - Keri King….. she is the absolute best and I would not let anyone else touch my lips!! She and her nurse assistant, Caelin, make such a great team and do amazing work. Love them!!

Could not be happier with the results of the treatment

I could not be happier with the results of the treatment I received from Dr. Standefer and his staff. I’m about 150 days post surgery and I still am amazed at how my jawline has changed. I was so self conscious of my turkey neck and cringed when I saw what it looked like in pictures—I loved my grandfather but I wasn’t ready to look like him! As a gift to myself, I called it my 60,...

I look like myself but refreshed

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Standifer and his entire team. I had a neck/lower face lift along with lower blepharoplasty after several years of looking in the mirror and thinking I looked like a tired turkey. I was nervous but there was no reason to be. I had the right surgeon who produced amazing, natural looking results. I look like myself but refreshed. My outside now matches...

I was well prepared for my procedure

I had a Fresh Lift deep plane facelift addressing my jawline/saggy neck. I was well prepared for my procedure by both Dr and staff who took time to hear my desired outcome. Yet, I was uneasy the first week post op. The highly professional & well trained staff addressed all of my concerns with patience & kindness. I selected Dr. Standefer for his reputation of a more conservative and...

Q: Would Facetite or Ultherapy give me good result? I don't want to waste money on something that won't (Photo)
Answered by Dr. StandeferApril 1, 2020

A: Hello and thanks for the question. I have had the pleasure of providing all of these treatments and can say without hesitation that your best result will be with a formal submentoplasty consisting of submental liposuction and platysmaplasty as part of a lower facelift. Save your money and a lot of heartache with regards to Ultherapy and Facetite if you are looking for a long lasting, definitive result. I have performed dozens of Facetite procedures and even after extensive training, I do not feel that it is possible to achieve the results that I can with a formal surgery. Lessor procedures often seem like a good compromise with regards to down time or financial considerations, but in the long run, most people are happier when they get the results they pay for. Minimal procedures often only give minimal results.

Q: When getting filler in the under eye area, can the area be numbed first?
Answered by Taylor SiemensMay 10, 2019

A: Hi! Every office/injector does their numbing a bit different. Some injectors rely on the lidocaine within the filler to help aid in pain management. Other options include a topical BLT cream that is applied to the skin about 20 minutes prior to injection or performing a local injection of lidocaine to the insertion site. Options vary based on whether the provider is using a needle or cannula to inject and patient or provider preference. I would recommend you discuss what options your provider offers to be educated on what to expect with your treatment.

Q: Can Botox be used on the nose to minimize bossae (nasal bump tip)?
Answered by Dr. StandeferMarch 14, 2019

A: Hello and thanks for the question: Botox can help relax the muscles of facial expression, or so-called "bunny lines" of the nose laterally, but nothing reduces the size or bulk of the nose without surgery. Any non surgical rhinoplasty involves adding volume to camouflage a hump or an irregularity. If you need a smaller, more refined nasal tip, you will need to consider a rhinoplasty or surgical correction. My Best!

Q: What Can Be Done for Crepey, Saggy Skin Under the Eyes?
Answered by Dr. StandeferOctober 19, 2018

A: The skin over the eyelids is the thinnest skin in the entire body. Therefore, it is the first skin to show elasticity changes that occurs to everyone as time goes by. Depending on the severity, it can respond to laser resurfacing which stimulates collagen production and therefore thicker skin and often times will improve with removal of a tiny  pinch of skin. If there is any puffiness due to prominent fat pads, it can be addressed at the same time. With the Irish heritage, I am sure that your are more than familiar with the need for sun block and avoidance of nicotine products. Those are the two things that put the aging process on the fast track. A good eye cream can improve the skin hydration and minimize the fine lines and wrinkles as well. My Best!

Q: Would non surgical nose job give my nose more symmetry? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. StandeferMarch 15, 2018

A: Adding a filler can definitely change the look of your nose and reduce the apparent deviation. I recommend a reversible filler to start with to give you the chance to see if you are going to like the look. Fillers add volume, so if the nasal features are too large to start with, surgical reduction may be your best answer. That being said, fillers have proven very good at camouflaging many nasal deviations or surface irregularities giving the nose more balance and aesthetic qualities. Reversible fillers leave all of your options open because they are temporary, can be reversed, and can help you decide which option you are most comfortable with. Permanent solutions are possible, both surgical and non-surgical.
