A Hi and thanks for your question!
I agree that you do need controlled injury to the skin in order to promote collagen and elastin regrowth, which over time will help to tighten skin.
I love the Halo laser, but it is better suited for textural issues in skin.
For large body areas, like abdomen, I feel patients are better suited to either a Morpheus8 body treatment (microneedling and radiofrequency) with a Sofwave treatment (ultrasound therapy).
Morpheus8 creates the controlled injuries with tiny, gold plated microneedles, but also applies radiofrequency heat energy to the tips of those needles. This is really the top of line therapy to induce growth of collagen and elastin.
Sofwave ultrasound technology heats up dermal tissue to significantly enhance the growth of collagen and elastin and provide a tissue lift and tightening.
Hope this helps!
