Hi! Thank you for your question. In my experience, I would not recommend having two different injectors inject your lip the same day. One reason not to is because you will have swelling from your first appointment, by the time you get to your second appointment. Therefore, they won't be able to accurately tell how your lips look. Another reason is I personally would never inject on top of someone's else's work until it it completely healed. You won't know who did what once the lips are healed and if something needs to be fixed or adjusted, you won't be able to tell which provider needs to do the correction.
To answer your question about how much juvederm you'll need, in the past I've seen results using 1 to 1.5 syringes. Not doing more than 1 syringe at a time, and having the patient return in two weeks to add more.
Lastly, in the past I have used restylane-l, silk, defyne and refyne in lips that have had juvederm and they were fine.
Most importantly, make sure you communicate your thoughts to both of your providers to ensure your safest, best outcomes.
I hope this helps!

Thank you for your question. In my experience when I have done in person consultation for fat reduction for arms, there have been patients that were coolsculpting candidates and some Lipo. It depends on how the fat feels, how your skin is, and important to set realistic expectations for patients. I have seen great results with coolsculpting for this area in particular. These patients had great laxity of the skin before hand and had a reduction of about 25% fat in the area. It is important to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to see if lipo is your best rout and/ or facility that's certified in coolsculpting with a medical team. I hope this helps!
Best of luck!

In my experience when a patients has shown loss of volume in areas like midface/cheek area I have used dermalfillers to restore the loss of volume. Dermalfillers I have used in the past have been, Restylane Lyft, Voluma, Radiesse and even Bellafill. I also make sure I pay attention to the whole lower face making sure that the shadowing around the chin is addressed in addition to under eyes, nasolabial folds and smile lines. It varied from patient to patient on amount of filler needed to replace volume without looking "done". It can be 2 plus syringes, and honestly for most patients at least 3-4 and that's staying on the conservative end. 1ml of filler is all that comes in each syringe and thats only 1/5 of a teaspoon. Good luck in finding a practitioner best suited for you.

In the past when when I have treated male patients for heaviness at nasolabial folds, I have taken a two pronged approach. I first work on replenishing volume lost to cheeks and lateral aspect of the face. I've used Radiesse, Voluma, Restylane Lyft or Bellafill depending on the patients history (allergies/use of fillers in past). Depending on the product chosen you can go through about 2-4 syringes. After I've worked on the lateral aspects of the face and cheek to achieve a lift of the nasolabial folds I then asses the folds themselves and finish off the look by softening the nasolabial folds with 1 (at most 2) syringe of Vollure, refyne or defyne. In my opinion it leads to a more natural, un-feminine finish for my male patients. I hope this helps you in deciding a practitioner you are comfortable with and trust. Happy Anti-aging Hunting!
