Dr. Jonathan Sykes is the Director of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at The Roxy Institute of Beverly Hills in California. With over 35 years of experience, he is a highly respected board-certified facial plastic surgeons in the U.S. Since opening his practice in 1986, he has performed more than 20,000 aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries, including facelifts, rhinoplasties, and eyelid procedures. “I believe in making noticeable changes in the face that do not appear to others as though the patient has had a treatment. I call this ‘surgery without an operated look,’ however, that extends beyond surgery to topical skin treatments such as peeling or lasering, and injectable treatments such as Botox or injectable fillers,” says Dr. Sykes. “Patients want their face to look rejuvenated and structurally the best, but they don’t want to enter a restaurant where people stare at them and wonder what they had done.” Dr. Sykes obtained his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology & Sociology from The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He then earned his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He is board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, where he served on the board of directors for 10 years. He is also board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. He’s also a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). In addition to helping his patients actualize their aesthetic goals, Dr. Sykes is passionate about helping children with cleft deformities and craniofacial issues. Throughout his three-decade tenure, he’s gone on over 25 humanitarian missions across the globe, including the Philippines, Russia, Brazil, and China. He’s also co-chaired the Many Faces of Giving Campaign for the AAFPRS, helping to raise over $4 million for facial plastic surgery (FPS) research, education, and humanitarian efforts. Dr. Sykes is highly sought after as a lecturer, teacher, and surgeon. In many ways, he has been a pioneer in the art of facial plastics, and he continues to help his patients look and feel their most beautiful.
I have been to Dr. Covey several times for Botox and have been very impressed by Dr. Covey's professionalism, care and diligence. She always checks for coupons to lesson the cost. I've been so happy w her, that I've scheduled a Sculptra treatment for my face and have recommended her to friends. Very happy I found Dr. Covey....and her office staff is friendly and welcoming. I was quite nervous to get fraxel, but 5 days post procedure, I am already thrilled with my results. I felt compelled to give thumbs after reading horrid reviews from people who didn't have such favorable results. Maybe these people didn't follow post care? I recommend fraxel dual! I go back for my second one in 6 weeks.

It was incredibly painful during the treatment. The recovery was longer and more difficult than I expected. I swelled horribly for 5 days and was beet red. Still, I was excited for the results. When all the swelling died down,...
