Thank you for your question and sharing your photo.

Hollow or sunken eyes can be caused by various factors, including genetics, ageing, loss of fat and collagen in the eye area, and lifestyle habits. While it's normal for the natural ageing process to affect the appearance of the eyes, there are some treatments that may help improve the appearance of hollow or sunken eyes. Here are a few options you could consider:

1. Dermal fillers: Hyaluronic acid-based fillers can be injected under the eyes to add volume and minimise the appearance of hollows. This treatment is temporary and will need to be repeated periodically.

2. Fat transfer: During this procedure, fat is taken from another part of your body, purified and injected into the hollow areas under your eyes. This can provide longer-lasting results compared to dermal fillers.

3. Chemical peels, laser resurfacing, Morpheus 8 and AccuTite: These treatments can help improve the overall texture and quality of the skin around the eyes. They may help minimise the appearance of fine lines and crepiness but might not directly target hollowness.

4. Good skincare routine: Using nourishing eye creams containing ingredients like retinol, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants may help improve the appearance of your eye area over time. Regularly moisturising and protecting your skin from the sun's harmful UV rays is also important.

I recommend consulting with a qualified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who can assess your concerns and provide you with personalised advice and treatment plan based on your needs. They will be able to guide you on the most suitable treatment options for you.

Wish you all the best.

Thank you for your question and for sharing your photos.

I am sorry to hear that you have faced bullying due to the size of your eyes. It's important to embrace and appreciate our unique features. And in my humble opinion, your eyes look beautiful and suit your face.

However, if you're considering options to enhance the appearance of your eyes, there are a couple of approaches available:

1: Non-surgical procedures: Some non-surgical procedures like non-surgical blepharoplasty (using radiofrequency or lasers or dermal filler) may help tighten the skin and adjust the volume around the eyes, producing a more open-eye appearance. These procedures can be less invasive compared to surgical options.

2: Surgical options: for a more permanent change to the appearance of the eyes, you should consult with a plastic surgeon or an oculoplastic surgeon regarding options such as double eyelid surgery or canthopexy. These surgical procedures involve creating a crease or improve the laxity of eye ligaments to make the eyes appear larger or more open.

It's essential to have a consultation with a qualified plastic surgeon who can assess your specific needs, understand your expectations, and recommend the most suitable options for you. They can provide a more accurate understanding of what is feasible and discuss any potential risks or side effects with you.

Wish you all the best.

Thank you for your question and providing photos.

There are several options, surgical and nonsurgical, available to address hooded/droopy eyelids depending on the degree of the ptosis.

The surgical option to consider is blepharoplasty, which involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the eyelids, resulting in a more rejuvenated appearance. It's important to note that this procedure is more invasive and generally requires a period of downtime for proper recovery.
However, based on the information you provided and reviewing your photos, it appears that there’s a distance greater than 3mm between your eyelash line and eye crease which means your indication for surgery is minimal.

Alternatives to surgery are injectable procedures which can provide temporary improvements. One example is the use of Botox or similar injectables to relax the muscles around the eyes and lift the eyebrows, thereby reducing the appearance of droopiness. Another option is the utilisation of dermal fillers to add volume and lift to areas around the eyes. These non-surgical options may be more suitable for you until a more substantial indication for surgery is present.

It is essential to consult with a qualified plastic surgeon who can assess your specific situation and provide personalised recommendation. The surgeon will be able to evaluate the severity of your concerns and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both the surgical and non-surgical approach. They can also provide you with a better understanding of the potential risks and expected outcomes associated with these treatments.

Wish you all the best.
