Dear Diligent12736,
You are an excellent candidate for sub-mental liposuction to provide a more defined neck and jawline. I would suggest seeking consultation with experts in the field and have imaging performed to show you the proposed results of this procedure. During the imaging you can also be shown what a small chin implant would add and see if you would want to consider both procedures. See many examples in the link attached. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Dear Mini_06, An intra nasal examination is needed to determine if you have a deviated septum. This is done during the time of consultation and if indeed you have one then a septorhinoplasty would be the best procedure for you. This is a combined procedure where the "septo" portion addresses the deviated septum and the functional aspects of the nose and the "rhinoplasty" portion addresses the aesthetic changes that are needed. Seek consultations with experts in the field and have imaging performed to show you the proposed surgical results and then review the surgeons before and after photographs to ensure expertise. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Dear Ann_eu, Thank you for your inquiry regarding brow surgery. Seek some consultations with experts in the field and discuss your desired results. Browlift surgery can be modified to have a lateral pull providing you with a similar result. I would suggest that you consider a natural approach here as you do not want your eyes pulled to far lateral looking unnatural and it will be aging. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
Dear NotwhatIhoped, It sounds like you likely have enough septal cartilage for revision surgery. What you may be experiencing with your consulting surgeons is their personal preference. Some surgeons prefer to use rib grafting and others are fine with septal grafting. Best regards, Michael V. Elam, M.D.
