34 Year Old Woman with Genetic Chin Fat

Somethings you want to inherit from your grandmother, but her double chin certainly wasn't one of them. Me and my Oma in Germany look very similar, more so then my mother or father. I tend to think that I look really good for my age. I don't really have any wrinkles, my skin is pretty good, but I was starting to see age in my jaw line, my chin had a double chin and it was causing small jowels on my face. :( Not cool. So I decided to do something about it. I was going to do Kybella, but the cost is over quadruple the cost for cool sculpting. And I work at a medical center and a medical spa came in to demonstrate their different services in hopes that we could refer some patients their way. So I sat down with them and had a consultation when they were here and they extended a really great discount. So after a trip to Paris, I decided to go for it. The spa was great, water, snacks and lunch provided. And the procedure was easy. I also had my lower abs done, but I want to focus on my chin for this review. The chin was cold, not really painful and I had my abs done at the same time. The abs hurt during the treatment, but not too unbearable, cause I fell asleep and took a nap during that, which lasted under an hour I believe. Afterwards, I didn't have any bruising, just a couple little spots similar to a hickey that you couldn't even notice. I rubbed arnica cream on it everyday for a week, and massaged it daily for 10 days. It's been 1 month now and I see a significant difference and I still have 2 more months to go. In the first photo, I have full makeup and you can see my double chin. In the second photo, I don't have any makeup on, but you can see how significantly decreased my chin area is and how more defined my jaw line is appearing. And this is just the first month! Updated on 20 Mar 2018: I got cool sculpting last year, around april or may I believe. I used to HATE my chin. Now I have more good chin days then bad. I am thinking I will do this again next year. I still have a little bit of a chin, but wow, this was soooooo worth it! I recently did a photoshoot, and my chin looks incredible! I also did coolsculpting on my lower abs last year and I noticed it about a month after, but then I think it came right back, and I wasn't great with dieting. Updated on 23 Oct 2018: So earlier this year I did a second round. I was nervous cause I heard people say bad things about the second round on the chin, and I hate my chin now. It seems looser and still fat. This time I am giving up on coolsculpting for the chin cause I don't think I'll get the results I want, and I'm going to do actual chin liposuction. I am hoping that this will give me the jawline that I desire.
