I wanted to look like I have natural big boobs

Dr. Low was an amazing doctor that knows what his doing. What I love about him he listens to what you want and will achieve it with his expertise. Went for a breast implants exchange and revision. I told him I wanted to look like I have natural big boobs and he did it. I was soar for only 4 days. Great bedside manner even gave me his cell just in case I need him for any questions or concerns!...

My breasts finally look symmetrical - perfect size for my body

After a few consultations, I finally met Dr. Cheung and his staff. As soon as I met him, I knew I wanted to get my breast revision with him. He answered all my questions never felt rushed, he actually asked me to wait to get the procedure done, since I recently had a baby he wanted me to wait at least 6 months postpartum no other surgeon asked me to wait they were ready to do the surgery and...

He listens to and understands your concerns

Dr. Cheung is amazing!!! Not only is he meticulous at his craft as a surgeon, but he also has wonderful “bed side manners” (as they would call it). He listens to and understands your concerns. He does not talk over you or dismiss your questions. He is also very patient and offered calming/ reassuring words whenever he saw I was getting nervous or anxious. I highly recommend Dr. Cheung and...

5 Q&A

Q: Will insurance cover me if my breast causes pain?
Answered by Dr. CheungAugust 6, 2018

A: The answer is that this depends on your insurance policy. Some policies do not cover breast reductions at all, and some do but with certain parameters. This may be based on your weight and height, the amount of breast tissue you need reduced, and sometimes they even require photos and documentation from your plastic surgeon to be authorized. I suggest calling your insurance company to find out if this surgery is covered by your policy. If not, I suggest seeing a BC plastic surgeon to see what the costs of the surgery would be.

Q: When is it safe to go kayaking and hiking after abdominoplasty?
Answered by Dr. CheungJuly 27, 2018

A: Every surgeon has a different postoperative protocol.  It's best to speak to your surgeon because he/she may prescribe something different due to something specific in your case.

I usually tell patients that they can return to normal activity between 4-6 weeks.  I have them keep the binder on for at least 4 weeks. No heavy lifting for 4 weeks minimum.

Usually at about 4 weeks, your body will tell you what you can and cannot tolerate.

Q: Asymmetry. 20 years old. What is my best option? Breast lift without implants? Breast reduction? I like small breasts
Answered by Dr. CheungJuly 16, 2018

A: If you like the way your left breast looks and you are happy with the size, then I would suggest a breast reduction/lift for the right side only. If you want to increase the size of the left breast, then you'll need an implant on the left and an implant with lift on the right. An in-person consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon should address all your questions and concerns

Q: There is something that feels like plastic and seems to go around my BA incision. (Photos)
Answered by Dr. CheungAugust 7, 2017

A: This appears to be an exposed suture. This happens from time to time. This can be removed by your surgeon relatively easy.

Q: Only one injection for 20 units of botox?
Answered by Dr. CheungFebruary 15, 2017

A: Twenty units injected as a single site injection for cosmetic botox seems a little too high. I routinely inject about 15-20 units of botox in the glabella area, divided into about 5 injections. One injection, 5 units, in the midline between the eyebrows. Then I ask the patient to activate the muscles that create the vertical lines, and then I do 4 injections, about 2.5 units on each side, in a "V" pattern. Total is about 15-20 depending on the patient.
