I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Criswell and the incredible team at Criswell & Criswell. From the moment I walked in for my Ellacor procedure, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Criswell's expertise and reassuring demeanor immediately put me at ease, and I felt confident that I was receiving top-notch care from everyone I came into contact with in the office. Throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to post-procedure follow-ups, Dr. Criswell and the nurses exhibited a level of professionalism and compassion that is truly commendable. They took the time to explain every step of the procedure and answer all of my questions, ensuring that I felt comfortable and informed at all times. The attention to detail displayed by Dr. Criswell and the staff was exceptional. They were meticulous in their approach, ensuring that every aspect of the procedure was carefully planned and executed. Their commitment to excellence was evident in the results of my Ellacor procedure, which have been nothing short of spectacular. The brightness and tone of my skin continue to improve and there is an evenness and tightness I haven’t experienced in years. The sun damage as well as the smoothness continues to improve, even after six months. Not only did Dr. Criswell and the team meet my expectations, but they exceeded them in every way. The results speak for themselves, and I continue to reap the benefits of the technology, their talents, and their care. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and I am grateful to have had such a positive experience with Dr. Criswell and the entire staff. If you're considering an Ellacor procedure or any other cosmetic treatment, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Criswell and his team. Their expertise in their craft, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail set them apart, and I am thankful to have been under their care. Thank you, Dr. Criswell, and thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff at for a truly exceptional experience.
My experience with Criswell & Criswell has been nothing short of amazing. From the first call (zoom) last year I knew that I had made the right decision. Dr Criswell and his staff are awesome. He truly cared about my situation and did his best to make sure that I understood what he was going to do. My procedure was three parts. I have one more procedure left. I told them they are my new best friends. If you only knew my story and the work that was done you’d definitely understand why I feel this way! I’m so happy and feel so complete now! Thank you again!
I focused on upper bra area. I've tried Coolsculpting on abs and it actually worked... but for this area, the Coolsculpting device just does not currently provide good options. So I tried Sculpture because the paddles or whatever you call them are smaller and more able to focus energy where you need it. Had 2 treatments, with 3 SkinTyte treatments along the way. Absolutely no results at this point. Updated on 8 Apr 2018: It's been 4 months since the first treatment of two. No results.
Soooo, I got the Halo laser this past Thursday on my face and neck and I want to let you know what to expect. I was so mesmerized by the 'after' photos that I really didn't focus on the healing horizon my doctor described. I feel sure this was my fault, as I tend to go into hyper-focus and I could not concentrate on what they were saying once they whipped out the photos of those gorgeous complexions. Day of Procedure: After sitting with numbing gel on my face for an hour, the procedure began. The procedure itself starts with a sensation of sparks hitting your face then progresses to a sensation of your face being aerated by one of those core aeration machines. I would say the discomfort level is moderate. However, after the procedure, I wish I had asked for a prescription pain pill. While my pain threshold is high, my skin is sensitive and it literally felt like a flame-thrower had been used on my face. I blasted my car's a/c all the way home and it barely kept the pain tolerable enough to get back to my house. I admit that I cursed quite a bit in the few hours after the procedure because I really wasn't mentally prepared for the pain and burning sensation after the procedure - literally like hot lava under the surface of your skin. This sensation subsided about 2 hours after the procedure was over, but for the love of Pete, it hurt!! Day 1 After: Swelling and redness.....I looked like an explorer with too much sun and wind exposure and needed Advil to get through the day. I could still go in public the first day after the procedure without frightening small children, but I really didn't want to be in front of people I know. Days 2-3 After: This is what you need to know: do not plan to go out in public. My face had the swelling of a Cabbage Patch Kid while my skin had the texture of say, Dead Pool. The skin started a flaking process that had the texture of coffee grounds, but the flakes really didn't want to come off my face, as though they were clinging to Mommy on the first day of preschool. My physician gave the LaRoche-Posey moisturizer/sunscreen that settled into the dying flakes, giving a cast of a person who had been in some sort of industrial accident. Plan ahead for this phase....plan to clean out some closets or drawers. File all that paperwork that's been accumulating for the past 6 months. Learn Spanish in Duolingo. Whatever you do, do NOT plan to go in public on these days cause you look insane and the thought of the smallest crack of sunlight on your delicate skin will make you cringe. Day 4: So I decided to switch to Aquaphor and the mineral oil/glycerine combo are making the dead skin colonies clump together and fall off in these weird masses of dead skin. EEWWWWWWW!! I'm working from home today and I feel sure my co-workers and clients do not understand the solid favor I'm doing for them by staying away. I'm starting to see the delicate new pink skin underneath the healing and wonder if this procedure might be worth it after all. *Will post more as the healing progresses* Updated on 29 Sep 2017: Days 4 - 5: Ahh, the magic! My skin started clumping and falling off at a rapid rate and the new skin peeked right through. The skin is a little sensitive but nothing intolerable. Now I completely see why people are huge fans of the Halo laser! I have been reassured that the continuing collagen growth happens in the weeks and months following the procedure, so I'm happy but expect to be even happier!!
I called to schedule an appointment for an initial consult for evaluation of some minor cosmetic procedures on my face, as well as an evaluation for a mommy makeover. The receptionist said they will not address multiple issues or body parts in one visit. I told her I wanted a consult to do these things, and could schedule the procedures at different times, but I am a whole person and I expect to be evaluated as such, so the process of the next steps are in appropriate order according to what the doctor deemed appropriate. She continues repeatedly to argue that her doctor does not have enough time to discuss multiple procedures in one consult appointment. That seems like extremely poor care n planning from a medical standpoint to me. What if the procedures I think I want, are not the ones I need? Not only that, but What if I Scheduled the mommy makeover and the doctor decided I could not do that yet, then I am out that money, and I have to schedule another consult for my face and pay yet another consult fee not knowing for certain I m having the correct procedure evaluated because I have not see a doctor yet? No thank you. Poor care. It is a shame because I hoped to have a female surgeon and those are hard to find. Disappointed already... not really good for your business.
