Dr. Omar Tillo is an excellent surgeon. He was very professional from the video consultation to the in-person consultation all the way through to the procedure and the post-op follow ups. He took great care of me and checked in regularly to see how I was doing. He answered any questions I had in the consultations and then broke down what he is able to do to meet my expectations. The actual...

A: From this single picture, it seems that you're a very good candidate for this procedure that would aim to remove deposits from the flanks and inner thighs and transfer this tissue to fill the hips.
A clinical examination is necessary to estimate the volume of fat tissue available and needed.
In the picture attached to my profile you'll see a patient with very similar frame.
A: I often advice against having BBL in BMI more than 35 as the risks of surgery are much higher (chest infection, DVT/PE, fat necrosis and delayed healing).
Also you don't get the best outcome from surgery due to the remaining internal visceral fat tissue.
Generally speaking the best BMI to have this surgery is between 22-25 these are not 100% accurate as people tend to store the weight in different parts of the body. That's why it;s important to have a consultation with an experienced surgeon that would be able to assess the amount of external and visceral fat available and the best BMI that would match your aims and expectations.
A: Fat transfer to hip dips and Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) are two different procedures, and while they both involve the transfer of fat, the risks associated with each procedure can differ.
BBL involves the removal of fat from other parts of the body, such as the abdomen or thighs, and transferring it to the buttocks to enhance their size and shape. This procedure carries a higher risk of complications, including fat embolism, which can be life-threatening. This is because the fat is injected into the buttock muscles, which have a rich blood supply, and if the fat enters a blood vessel, it can travel to the lungs and cause serious problems.
Fat transfer to hip dips, on the other hand, involves the transfer of fat from one part of the body to another to enhance the shape of the hips. This procedure typically involves injecting the fat into the subcutaneous tissue, which is less likely to cause fat embolism. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are risks associated with fat transfer to hip dips, including infection, bleeding, and asymmetry.
You can still also have fat transfer to the posterior gluteal area (buttocks) safely via superficial gluteal lipofilling (SGL) or BEST-F techniques which involves the use of ultrasound scan to insure that the fat is only injected into the subcutaneous space, not into the muscle as recevntly recommended by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). A: Hi,
The best is to have your surgery once you've achieved your final target weight.
A BMI more than 30 is associated with a significant increase in risks and complications. In addition, you will not achieve your ideal figure and outcome unless you lose all the excessive visceral fat.
I suggest you have your consultations, find your surgeon, then agree a time for surgery (in 6 or 12 months) and set a target to reach your ideal weight by that time. This will give you the incentive to achieve your targets.
A: Hi,
Seems like you have developed a small hernia at the keyhole surgery incision. This should not prevent you getting a tummy tuck at all. An ultrasound scan test is needed to check it.
Hernias can be easily repaired during the tummy tuck surgery but may need a small mesh.
