Kathy Dexter Nurse Practitioner
Kathy was born and raised in Gilroy, CA and is still an avid lover of garlic. She moved to Idaho and started her education a little over 20 years ago as an EMT in 1996 when her children were still small. She became a paramedic in 2002, an RN in 2007 and worked in the ER and the ICU. She was also a part time instructor for the local community college in Twin Falls, Idaho. In 2011 she climbed into an Air St. Luke’s helicopter and began her career as a flight nurse/paramedic. She obtained her BSN from Idaho State University and her doctorate of nursing practice from the University of Utah in 2016. She has a soft spot for public service, community health and teaching. Kathy loves a good backpacking adventure, camping and road biking. Montana is the perfect place for her. If she hasn’t already, she will tell you to go outside and get some sun on your face.
