A Thank you for sharing your question! It sounds like you may be a good candidate for a breast reduction. Large breasts may not only interfere with your physical ability to function in daily activities but can be emotionally burdensome as well. Breast reduction surgery removes excess breast tissue and reshapes the contour of the breasts so that they are smaller and perkier. At my practice, we use minimally invasive techniques to limit incision size. This is paired with specialized skincare products that I have created to help heal the skin and minimize scarring. Q Which type of breast lift would be best for me? (photos)
A Thank you for your question! A reduction/breast lift can give you a perkier, more lifted breast. During this surgery, excess skin and breast tissue are removed, the nipple is repositioned, and the skin is re-draped and tightened to support the breast. This can also improve the size and shape of your areola. I use the Lejour technique, also known as a “lollipop” incision. This technique can be performed with minimal scarring as an outpatient procedure without the need for general anesthesia. If you want to remove your implants, you can have your own fat injected to add volume without implants. Q Can you have capsule removal, breast lift and fat grafting at the same time in one surgery?
A Thank you for your question! Yes, multiple breast procedures can be done at the same time. During a breast lift, your surgeon will remove excess skin, reposition the nipple, and re-drape and tighten the remaining skin to support the breast. If you want more volume, you may benefit from a fat transfer, where your own fat is removed from another part of your body (like your hips, tummy, of thighs) and specially prepared and placed into your breasts. This can help improve contour and shape. The great thing about these techniques is that they can now be done with minimal scarring and performed as an outpatient procedure without the need for general anesthesia.
