Dr. Szczerba has an excellent bedside manner, everything is explained and all my questions and concerns are addressed. Breast reconstruction turned out amazing. Dr. Szczerba corrected another providers mistakes and the out come was beyond belief. He helped me return to myself before cancer. All I can say is I'm amazed at the talent this man has when it comes to making you feel beautiful again!

Walking in, the staff are so sweet and accomodating, the nurses are so attentive, and Dr Szczerba is a top notch surgeon! Not only is he amazingly talented, I followed everything he told me. Getting a breast augmentation was the best thing I ever did for myself. It’s been 5 years & its still something that brings me joy every day! I was terrified to have surgery & I never would have done it, if I didn’t have full confidence in Dr. Szczerba. He had a calming effect on me & going in, I just knew everything would be okay. Dr. Szczerba is a very talented plastic surgeon with an awesome bedside manner. Meeting him and learning about his process has been life changing. He has an abundance of knowledge and experience. I know this from my own personal experience, as well as from my husband who works in the medical field. My husband has observed and worked with many plastic surgeons from across the Midwest for over 20 years and highly recommends Dr. Szczerba. He is an artist and is very concerned about all aspects of his work, including making his patients feel comfortable. The office staff is amazing as well. From the nurses to the women at the front desk, everyone is always helpful and friendly. This is why when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I knew Dr. Szczerba would be the one to perform my reconstruction surgeries.

Because I was so happy with the outcome from my reconstruction, I decided to have a tummy tuck and lipo a year later. I waited for 15 years after three c-sections to make this decision. I wasn’t at my ideal weight, which would have given me even better results, but I realized that may never happen and life was passing me by. My body and appearance affected everything and I missed out on a lot of experiences and photo opportunities waiting to lose weight. After having a discussion with one of the nurses and then Dr. Szczerba, I decided it was time. Best decision I ever made! I felt he went above and beyond expectations in office visits as well as the actual surgery. We discussed all aspects beforehand and I felt very comfortable with what the surgery day would entail as well as the recovery. I could call him anytime 24/7 with any concerns I was having after the procedure. The nurses were great before and after surgery and I felt very prepared for the recovery.

I will say again that this has been life changing for me. The results of this surgery have given me the confidence to do so many things I haven’t done in years. I am now more motivated than ever to continue down a healthier path. Even though I am still not at the ideal weight, I have gone down at least two sizes in clothing and feel so much better about myself. I cannot recommend Dr. Szczerba and his staff enough. I wish I had made this decision sooner!

Approximately ten years ago I started my breast augmentation journey with my first board certified plastic surgeon. One implant never descended properly and capsular contracture developed in both breasts. I returned to the same doctor to try and fix the CC issue only to have worse scarring, tethering and CC develop again. My second board certified plastic surgeon tried mesh and an inframammary incision ( the two previous surgeries were done using an areolar approach) only to have CC return six months later in what I can only say was the worse scarring and tethering of my breasts to date. By the time I saw Dr. Szczerba two years later I was ready to have my implants removed. I felt very defeated and extremely ugly because my breasts looked deformed. I read a lot of reviews and researched Dr. Szczerba’s work with reconstructing patients breasts after cancer. During my first consult he was informative, patient and kind. We agreed to try one more time to fix my breasts. He suggested a two stage approach. The first surgery to fix my CC and the second procedure for a scar revision around my areolas. I’m elated to share that six months later I am still CC free and just completed my scar revision as well. I cannot say enough positive, grateful and heartfelt thanks to Dr. Szczerba and his staff. Their teamwork, professionalism and skill are unmatched. Thank-you all for returning my confidence and faith.
