12 weeks post Voluma in my cheeks. Since then I've had a burning sensation. How long will it last? Advice?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

We would advice you to consult with your treating practitioner. Some sensation change is normal post treatment however this shouldn’t be a permanent feeling.

My filler in my lip created an ugly droopy bump and it will not dissolve after two sessions of hyaluronidase. What can I do?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

We would suggest that you attend your original clinic and ask for a review with the Doctor who undertook your treatment. A last resort in these cases can be surgically removing or aspirating the filler which is causing the “bump”.

Is under eye filler before pregnancy safe?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

As long as a patient undergoes a full assessment and consultation with a Medical Practitioner prior to Dermal Filler treatment then Derma fillers are a relatively safe procedure to perform. However, pregnancy and breast feeding is one of the contraindications to Dermal Fillers. As long as patients are not pregnant or breast feeding and have no other contraindications to treatment then Dermal filler to the under eye area is safe.

Honest, Realistic Advice

Had a great experience from the time of booking a consultation till the actual consultation. I didn’t go through with the fat freezing as After thinking through the facts given, I decided to not go ahead with it. But this is the first and only clinic which gave me a realistic picture. Their customer service was great and I’d definitely use them should I feel the need to take up any treatment.

Ultherapy

Just Brilliant!

I was worried about my treatment as I had heard it was painful. But, Agnieszka reassured me and spent a lot of time explaining the procedure bit by bit. She talked to me during the treatment and explained everything she was doing, so I wasn’t concerned at all. And it wasn’t painful, just a little uncomfortable now and again. The staff here are so warm, friendly and professional and I won’t be going anywhere else for my treatments. The results are amazing! I would highly recommend the Cavendish Clinic.

CoolSculpting

BobbiFleckmann

Coolsculpting for Inner Thighs - London, GB

I visited two clinics before going ahead with the procedure and the different approaches were quite marked. Both agreed that I was a great candidate for the procedure and that it would be effective, but the first place immediately said that two treatments would be essential, then tried to upsell to flanks / stomach by grabbing at me and saying they could get a good result there. Given that I'm not unhappy with those areas / relatively slim anyway (5 ft 3 / 8 stone 4), it was a little insulting and definitely hard sell overkill. The same place gave me horror stories of other clinics, pointed to their award from Zeltiq on the wall - which it transpires is granted on the basis of licence fee paid... which brings me to the next point - they would not budge on price, even if I did book their recommended double session in one go. Instead, I went with the Cavendish Clinic who had a much more measured approach of wait and see 3 months after the treatment, and whose clinician has much longer experience of carrying out the procedure. They also gave a small discount on the fee, with an additional discount built in for any follow up or subsequent treatment on other areas. A much more pleasant room / atmosphere for the treatment to be carried out in and Tanya was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. She also made an additional check for suitability based on the leg muscles being tensed to check that it was fat not flabby muscle being pinched. They're open 6 days / week and late in the evenings so booking the consult and treatment itself was very simple and fast. The procedure itself was a complete non event - no pain, discomfort during or after. For weeks I thought I'd thrown a lot of money away on magic beans because nothing so uneventful could possibly work, right? Wrong. I'm a month in and already have lost an inch on each upper thigh - there's a marked visual difference, especially from behind (she hauled my lard round from the back of my leg). A strange side effect is that it seems to have slightly changed the texture of the skin in the area treated - much softer and there's been no hair growth there since the treatment was done - maybe the follicles have been frozen into submission temporarily? I'm very happy with the results and will probably go back for more CoolSculpting. One criticism - it's not precision shaping. There is some unevenness to the profile of my inner thigh which is more marked now. It's only 4 weeks in, so will wait and see how it evens out but by its nature, this procedure can't shape as well as something that's being hand guided. NB price below is in £ sterling not USD
