I've always been fascinated by resurfacing facials but since I'm too tan, I was always told not to get a photo facial. Recently, my esthetician told me that there's a similar facial called "Fire and Ice" that uses laser and heat to safely resurface the skin and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I'm only in my early twenties so my wrinkles aren't out of control but I like to get preventative treatments done to push off botox for as long as I can. The facial itself was very relaxing and the laser zaps weren't painful at all. I definitely noticed the smoothing and softening of my skin and it kept improving for two weeks. After the laser heat, which is the fire part, she used a cooling fan and a thick, cool vitamin c mask which is the ice part of the facial. My skin looked incredibly hydrated and my complexion was glowing by the time I walked out. I bought two other treatments that I plan on using in the next year to continue the improvement but this was a great facial that was comparable to a photo facial. I also checked out Groupon and there were several discounts, so it's also a more affordable option for all skin types!
