Doctor Chiu is beyond fantastic. I found her after my local derm showed disinterest both contextually and through her demeanor. Well, I'm glad she did because It was absolutely worth the trip over from Portland to Seattle to see her. I would do it again and in fact, I will! First and formost, she is ATTENTIVE. I mean like a super computer kind of attentive. It was almost hard to keep track and retain it all but in a good way. My wife was taking notes while she was popping off with the skin facts. She taught us about about rosacea, KP, and sunscreen all in one sitting. It's safe to say she noticed more about my skin than I did! What stuck out to me when I was reading about her was when she said that every patient deserves the utmost empathy. I mean wow, that's difficult for people to say nowadays let alone practice. But she does show it. She's not afraid to because she's humble. She makes you feel like a real patient. I told her my concerns, she came up with a thorough plan to get me on track and although I was only expecting a consultation at first, Dr Chiu shocked me with her offer of performing my first laser treatment SAME DAY. Matter of fact it was the same hour. She considered that I came out of town and that was such refreshing compassion to receive. She asked if I had any questions and what questions I did have, she pulled out her extensive experience from her toolbelt and dished out her knowledge with ease. All in a day's work for a skin superhero. Her clinic is so reasonably priced per the quality and treatment you receive. And like she says, what's great about her clinic is that they combine the medical and cosmetic side. So, you're not just getting one half of the battle done. They can tackle your skin concerns from all angles and again, with immense experience. Don't take that last part lightly. Derms come in all shapes and sizes and she separates herself as the PNW's best because her credentials are impressive, period. Passing us over to Olga now who performed the laser surgery itself and she was astounding as well. She is relatable, attentive, has a great personality and will you leave you satisfied. My skin cleared up like crazy after just one treatment so I'm excited for more. Thank you both again!
I did a ton of research, looking for the best doctor and facility for rosacea treatment and found Bellevue Laser and Cosmetology Center. I met with Dr. Chiu and she listened to my laundry list of issues and came up with a treatment plan that I was happy with. She was personable, sincere, knowledgeable, relieved my nerves on the day of my procedures and was genuinely kind. You can tell she truly cares for her patients. I also worked with Olga for my laser treatment and she was honest about post procedure and overall outcome expectations and was extremely efficient at quickly finishing the treatment. Dr. Chiu’s entire staff have been incredibly friendly, professional and I can’t say enough about the whole team!
