I researched for a while before I settled on the MiraDry treatment. While most people seek the treatment due to excessive sweating, I sought it out to address odor. All my life I have struggled with deodorants not working on me, or I have a bad reaction to them. I finally became tired of constantly wondering if I stank or not. I started with a phone consultation at Bella Body and then an in person meeting. The in person consultation sealed the deal. Once I walked into the spa I felt right at home and it ease. The decor is perfect and the front desk staff are very personable. The treatment was completely explained to me, plus they use the 5th level of power. This was critical as I had read that many people require second visits on lower settings. You are provided with numbing cream as well as a numbing agent administered via a needle. They mark up your underarm to ensure that they get all of the glands. There are moments during the procedure where it felt a little warm, but for the most part it was fairly painless. After the procedure I had a lot of swelling, which they explain is to be expected. I am on my 3rd week of recovery and still have not needed deodorant. This literally is the best thing I have done for myself and I think I picked the perfect place.
