Wonderful experience - super pleased with the results

I had a number of procedures done through Dr. Fazilat done during one surgery, which included a face and neck lift, lip lift, breast lift, and lower eye blepharoplasty. I am writing this review after one week and two days post-surgery, and I am nearly 100% back to normal already. My face is healed, bruises nearly gone, swelling going down, and can go about my normal daily activities already. I...

102 Q&A

Q: Facial balancing (filler) recommendations, is Belotero the best? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. FazilatMay 17, 2023

A: Hi! Belotero is a GREAT choice when it comes to undereye fillers. The reason why we prefer to add Belotero to the undereye is because, since it is a clear gel, it will not cause a tyndall effect when placed superficially. It is a hydrophobic filler and does not absorb as much water as some other fillers can. Using a hydrophobic filler under the eyes is very important due to the delicate structures surrounding. For some added support, it is recommended to add filler to your cheeks as well in order to build a base for the undereye. I would start with about 2mL in the mid cheek and 1 syringe of Belotero to the undereye!

Q: Can I have chin filler two days after chin liposuction?
Answered by Dr. FazilatMay 17, 2023

A: Hello! It is not recommended to add filler to the chin a couple days AFTER chin liposuction. Liposuction under the chin will cause a decent amount of swelling, making you look fuller than before the actual surgery. This will throw off how you truly look and what the final outcome will be. It is best to wait a full 4-6 weeks minimum prior to adding chin filler and chin liposuction. Once cleared by your surgeon, you should be good to go!

Q: I hate lower half of face, dent in chin & lips are downturned, what fillers do you recommend? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. FazilatMay 17, 2023

A: I would recommend some sort of Hyaluronic Acid filler to your full face in order to provide structure and appropriate facial proportions. My go-to lip filler product to inject is Restylane Kysse. It is the perfect hybrid product that will provide structure and natural volume. For chin denting and structure, I always suggest the combo of neurotoxin (Botox or Dysport) + HA filler to the chin to soften out asymmetries. Number of syringes used will be determined upon in-person assessment with an experienced provider. While treating these areas of concern may improve the lower third of your face, it is VERY important to address the entire face as a whole in order to see a well-balanced and natural result. Most often times, I need to add volume to the cheeks so that the lower face can be more pronounced!

Q: Wrinkles around jaw, chin & mouth - is there a filler to fix them? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. FazilatMay 17, 2023

A: Every single person has asymmetries of the face to some degree. It is common for one side of the mouth to show deeper lines compared to the other side due to sleeping positions, excess sun exposure from driving, etc. However, there is a solution for you, and that is dermal HA fillers + neurotoxin to the mentalis muscle (chin). I would suggest starting to 1-2mL of HA fillers to soften out smile lines around the mouth. You can also benefit from a little bit of Botox to the chin which will help soften chin dimpling caused by muscle contraction!

Q: Botox Deep Static Frown Line (Photo)
Answered by Dr. FazilatMay 17, 2023

A: Frown lines can be very pesky and difficult to provide a full correction when they are severe. I would recommend to treat the surrounding muscle groups like your frontalis and orbicularis oculi muscle (crows feet). Doing so will help to relax the accessory muscles that contribute to severity of frown lines. FDA suggests that you treat the upper face with about 64 units in total for optimal results. If there is still no improvement after increasing dosing, my suggestion would be to try out different Neuromodulators such as Dysport or Daxxify to see if optimal results can be achievable.
