I have never had a face treatment before. I am trying CoolPeel as my first intro into the world of anti-aging. Staci was extremely helpful in explaining everything and helping me to feel comfortable. She numbed my face for a long time before we started. My face was pink after the procedure and became EXTREMELY red after she applied the moisturizer and even more red after the sunscreen. I was super red and goopy for hours. It made me super irritable. She did the setting on Medium Plus since I live so far away. At night, I washed my face with lukewarm water with a gentle cleanser. It BURNED. I applied my own healing balm that is a DIY version of Waxelene (beeswax, organic soybean oil, etc) . I try to avoid petroleum as it irritates my skin. Day 2 I felt MUCH better when I woke up. was still a little red and had some red marks on my face. I was able to gently apply a moisturizer and sunscreen. I put extra makeup on and went to my job as a teacher. No one noticed anything. Day 3 I can barely see the red marks. My face does feel that sandpaper feel that I read about and she told me (over and over to make sure I knew) would happen. I can already see a brightening of my skin and a more youthful appearance. I will be updating my review as time goes on. I think it is too soon to post if it is fully "worth it" or not but I am really happy with it so far! She was also super sweet and did my hands and some stretch marks to see if it will help my concerns there! I'm really happy with Staci.
