I appear to have immediate results as I had a jawline and prior to going in I did not one of the things I wanted to focus on was my platysmal band which this procedure did not resolve the problem it appeared to look much better but that look has since dissipated. It was extremely painful I was given two rounds of lidocaine and a circumferential fashion 0.3 of Lido with Eppy and then 0.5 Lido would that be in the same fashion. I really think patients would benefit for this typical procedure by having a dental block as well. The post procedure is concerning as I have zapping like ceilings in the marionette line areas bilaterally. After asking why I would be feeling this way it was told to me that it may be that the thread is very close to a nerve and this should dissipate over time. The left side of my face I do have a small protrusion above the left mentus area. On a scale from 1 to 1010 being the worst pain ever I would have to say this was about a 10. I was given more lidocaine and I had had PDO threads placed a year ago at the same office the pain was minimal on a scale from 1 to 10 I would say the tying off of the threads was the most painful and I would’ve given that about a four. I had three PDO threads done bilaterally inserted in front of the ear bilaterally. Overtime the collagen should continue to build and I am not sure what the results will be hopefully they will be better but I do have some bunching of the thread on the left jawline as well. I was a model for the procedure the office is beautiful the nurse practitioner is very knowledgeable very patient and very skilled. This is not for people with a low threshold for pain.
We discussed recommendations for me and I was not pressured in anyway on my final decision for treatment. Ashley made sure I was comfortable before she started the procedure. She took her time and did not rush me in and out I was very pleased with end results. I was impressed because she took the time to call me the next day to follow-up with me.
