Amy Coopersmith, ARNP is a doctorate-prepared, board-certified family nurse practitioner. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field to Amethyst Wellness in Palm Coast, Florida, where she serves as lead practitioner and specializes in preventive medicine and aesthetics. After completing her undergraduate degree in nursing, Coopersmith completed a master of science degree in nursing from the University of San Diego in 2002. In 2012, she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida. Coopersmith holds certifications in nutrition and wellness, children’s fitness, and holistic nutritional consulting, and is trained in laser hair removal and cosmetic procedures, including the administration of Botox® and dermal fillers. Coopersmith served in the United States Army Nurse Corps for more than 10 years. While serving, she achieved the prestigious rank of major.
Jerry is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He first obtained his associate's degree in Physiological Psychology from Mesa College in San Diego, California. He then continued his career in healing as an Officer in the United States Army Nurse Corps. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma. He then went on to obtain a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from the University of San Diego. He was a National Health Service Corps Scholar and worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a Uniformed Officer for the United States Public Health Service Corps. He then went on to work for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, and eventually became the managing Nurse Practitioner for Home Based Primary Care. A Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, he also owns Flagler Hypnotherapy.
Betty Kachnycz is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of Central Florida and her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati Ohio.Betty’s nursing experience has involved helping patients in a variety of settings, including orthopedic, women’s Betty’s nursing experience has involved helping patients in a variety of settings, including orthopedic, women’s health and primary/urgent care.
