I went to Dr. Amadi for a lower blepharoplasty a year ago and I am so happy with my decision to undergo this procedure with him and his practice. The results are clear but subtle, I look refreshed and younger (or at least less aged by the bags under my eyes), and I'm more confident in my natural appearance without make-up. To preface, I'm pretty anxious about medical procedures and felt nervous and conflicted about pursuing a cosmetic procedure. Of course, it wasn't "necessary," but in reflection, the blepharoplasty really gave me a sense of confidence that I'd been working toward for years before the procedure. Having never done anything like this, I ultimately decided I was in good hands after an initial consult and review of Dr. Amadi's preparatory materials. Given his many years of experience, he and his team anticipated all of my questions and concerns and spelled out each phase of the process very clearly. First and foremost, Dr Amadi is incredibly invested in his patients. Many surgeons are procedurally competent but don't have the time or interest for compassion. Dr Amadi is both technically skilled and genuinely considerate. Both his office staff and his surgical staff are equally lovely. I felt safe & comfortable from start to finish. ...read moreOther providers were dismissive of my symptoms with thyroid eye disease but Dr. Amadi took me seriously enough to help me and my eyes are better now after the procedure. I appreciate that he went out of his way to help me.
My undereye hollows--not dark circles from being tired but shadows caused by the shape and position of the bones under my eyes--had always bothered me. I had tear trough filler 15 years ago which did nothing, and again on my 50th birthday, which I deeply regret because not only did it not fix the hollows, it caused puffiness and edema which was worse. This was followed by several attempts to dissolve the filler. I happened to see a new PA at my med spa to dissolve the filler.
Choosing Dr. Amadi for my eyelid surgery was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I've made. From the initial consultation to the post-operative care, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional, thanks to Dr. Amadi and his remarkable team. Dr. Amadi and his staff were exceptional throughout my eyebrow lift and upper and lower eyelid surgery, from the first pre-op visit to the final post-op review.
