Recently had my second child and wanted to do something with my stubborn belly that has been bothersome my whole life. I am built pretty small, but my stomach is another concern. Lipo wasn't for me, so I did a lot of research on Coolsculpting. Luckily enough, there was a location (locally) that provided what I was interested in. I booked a consult with Kenzie and scheduled my appointment a few days later. We determined that I was going to get 6 large applicators placed on my stomach. Two up top, two mid, and two lower. Some of these applicators were going to cross each other (doubling my treatment) in ways. Allure was SO accommodating! I live out of town, work M-F, and they adjusted their schedule to fit my needs. Day of procedure I took a 800 MG Motrin prior (anticipated a lot of pain after reading all these reviews). I went in, they measured where they were going to place my applicators and we began. This took a total of about 5 hours, with limited breaks (I now realize I have a high pain tolerance :) ). Netflix was provided, and honestly, I could have slept the majority of the time! I think the worst part was the anticipation. Let's say the suction liked me, as I have a lot of extra fat storage. Suction wasn't bad at all, especially after what I've read. The initial cold process was strange at first, nothing unbearable or painful though. After about 3-5 minutes, I was numb and good to go! I would recommend eating before going in too! Allure provided me with various snacks and drinks though, very awesome!!! My upper abdomen was probably the worst, but like I said, nothing about it was painful or bad! I have a smaller amount of fat up top, mostly rib cage up there, so it was a bit of a different feeling. When we got to my midsection, my last applicator made the machine shut off after :25 minutes as a precaution as my skin was too cold. We rescheduled for the following day. People say a lot of bad things about the "after massage". The ladies told me the massage was proven to give up to a 60% better result by doing so. Honestly, I was numb and it was a little uncomfortable, but nothing bad. After the procedure I drove home fine! I was red until about the next morning. I am about 5 days post now, and am a bit swollen and a little tender. Nothing too horrible. Every once-in-awhile I get some shooting pains, very tolerable though! Overall, very great experience! Can't wait to see results!!
