Dr. Joshua L. Fox is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder and director of Advanced Dermatology, P.C. He directs more than 40 offices throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, making Advanced Dermatology, P.C. one of the largest dermatology, laser, and cosmetic surgery groups in the entire region. Dr. Fox and the other board-certified dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and aesthetic providers on his staff offer a wide range of innovative medical and cosmetic treatment options using state-of-the-art technology, including Ulthera, Thermage CPT, Fraxel, CoolSculpting, laser liposuction, microneedling, Botox, and dermal fillers. In fact, Advanced Dermatology, P.C. owns more lasers than any other hospital or dermatology practice on the East Coast. An official spokesperson for the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Fox personally specializes in skin cancer treatment, cosmetic surgery, and laser procedures at his offices in Queens, New York, and Ridgewood, New Jersey. Dr. Fox earned his medical degree from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. After graduation, he completed an internal medicine internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, followed by a four-year dermatology residency at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Fox has been chief of dermatology at several major teaching hospitals, including Mount Sinai Hospital and Jamaica Medical Center in Queens. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. In 1987, Dr. Fox founded the American Academy of Dermatology Melanoma/Skin Cancer Prevention Program in Queens, New York. He has worked tirelessly to increase skin cancer awareness and develop effective community screening programs. To further these efforts, Dr. Fox developed the New Age Skin Research Foundation, a dermatology and skin cancer research and advocacy forum for patients and physicians. He currently serves as president of the organization. A dedicated academic, Dr. Fox frequently presents his findings on laser skin rejuvenation techniques, the treatment of scars and stretch marks, and other cosmetic procedures. Dr. Fox is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of both the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Skin Cancer Foundation. He has served on the advisory boards of both the National Psoriasis Foundation and the National Rosacea Foundation. Dr. Fox has received multiple clinical and research awards throughout his career.
