There is no greater profession than to be a Plastic Surgeon. I am so blessed to have had the parents and teachers who made me who I am. First, we are human beings, next we are physicians, and then we are plastic surgery specialists. This philosophy helps me provide the best care I can to my patients
A: Yes, there is hope to improve this. I am confident that a Plastic Surgeon member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons will correct this for you. Please ask him or her.
A: Excuse me please. I usually do not respond to these. I your case, I can not help myself. You have injected hyaluronic acid under your eyes which have a risk of blindness and had a bad result leading to a need for enzyme injection( not unusual). Now as I understand you consider doing it again? I am sorry. Plan A did not work. I would not consider Plan A again. My suggestion would be to see an experienced Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon regarding your potential need for surgical treatment of lower lid fat bags and possible fat grafting if indicated. Quick fix non surgical options are often too good to be true. Best Wishes
A: Your best bet to get rid of scar from hammer toe procedures is what is called Camouflage Tattoo. The color of the surrounding skin is inserted into the scar with permanent tattoo ink
A: These can be cut out and re sutured, which I have done, but it can be a lot of work. Now we are doing camouflage tattoo. Matching the color of the surrounding skin and inserting this ink into the scar to make it blend in and much less visible.
A: Your laceration was treated well and has healed as well as can be explected. There would be no benefit from scar revision. It is white making it visible against the darker skin. Scars do not have pigment in them. You would have an excellent result from a qualitied Camouflage Tattoo expert to place some pigment which matches your skin color into the scar
