Hyperhydrosis and Bromhidrosis cured - MiraDry is a Godsend!

*Intro* I am a 28 Year old Male and I've suffered for a long time with over sweating and the body odour too. It has ruined many aspects of my life. From having to wear dark colors, because white would stain yellow, from always keeping arms by my side, to even having to lie about smoking rather than having sweaty armpits because the odour smelt like smoke! *Procedure* It was easy and comfortable, but then again I don't mind anesthetic needles. A quick starch and iodine test is used to reveal the location of the overactive sweat glands in your armpits. A temporary tattoo (harmless/washable) is then placed over the most troubled areas (quite a large area). The tattoo is divided up into sections, so that the MiraDry device blasts each section on the tattoo (on your armpit) with the energy to destroy the glands for sweat and odour. You shouldn't feel anything, but there is a slight chance you fight pain in one or two spots. It is like a burning rod sensation, but I sucked it up. Otherwise I didn't feel anything for the majority of the session. All done in about 1.5 hours. *Post procedure* Managed to drive home, at that point I was still under anesthetic and It was uncomfortable to fold my arms into my armpit. Got home and the swelling began, and the bruises, and the pain, all through the night, and the following day. I suffered from secondary swelling known as lymphatic swelling which totally ballooned my underarm and bicep. I was scared, and initially I was icing the whole area underneath my arm, but didn't think ice was a good idea for Lymphatic swelling (which is lymph fluid rushing into the nodes). Anyways, thank god after a few days it started decreasing slowly, and the pain subsided. I took a lot of painkillers for the first two days then it was okay. I rest in bed an avoided moving too much because my arms with constantly at 45 degree angles away from my side. Was hard to walk in public and where anything but a vest. Was all worth it in my mind knowing that I solved my sweat issue. 6 days later and I am writing this review, My sweat is non existant, and I thought I would need a 2nd treatment ( my practioner thinks so too). Remains to be seen but so far, I can where whatever I want and NO sweat comes through at all. In the hottest conditions I put myself in, I just had a tiny but of moisture on my armpits, nothing visible through a shirt. I'm just amazed. I do feel like im sweating sometimes, but I check, and there's nothing there, just a tiny bit of moisture like 1 or 2 drops of warm water. Still a bit of swelling, very minor, but most all subsided, can still feel bit of tightness underneath armpits but give it a few weeks and should be fully healed. After a few months I'll figure out if I need a second or not, but at the moment I see no sweat worth mentioning, and the odour is eliminated, it just smells neutral. Not sure about the hair yet, I see some reduction, but need more time to assess. I am over the moon. Updated on 28 Jul 2017: It seems there quite the honeymoon period post operation, lasts for around 10 days or so of bone dryness. Some of my sweating has returned, which was to be expected as my practioner mentioned that MiraDry does not give bone dry results, but a significant reduction - and I agree. My sweating is down by more than 50%, maybe 60% or so. We agreed that I would probably need a second round, as I have severe hyperhydrosis, so my sweat level now is pretty much 'socially acceptable', small patches. Not the unclosed water tap leaking down my sides level. I am please thus far, still a bit of soreness in the area when pressed, but can move around no problems in stretching. Will update again in 1 month or so, and definitely when I do a second procedure in 10 weeks.
