As an expat in South Korea, I visited several clinics for initial consultations before making my choice. I was impressed by the lively atmosphere of AB Plastic Surgery compared to other clinics, which felt more sterile. During the first consultation, I sensed a significant push to book and pay a deposit for the surgery, which was scheduled for a holiday weekend. Although I felt a bit uncertain and decided against paying the deposit at that moment, I ultimately chose to book the surgery several weeks later, finding that the date was still available. This led me to believe that the initial pressure to decide was more than what was necessary. The surgery went smoothly, and I appreciated having an English translator present during follow-up consultations, testing, and the procedure. While I felt nervous about the anesthesia, the translator remained with me until I fell asleep. I was surprised by how quickly I was expected to leave after waking up; just 10 minutes after regaining consciousness. Although I had been warned by friends about the quick discharge process following surgery in Korea, it was still startling. Thankfully, a nurse accompanied me to the pharmacy to help me purchase my post-operative medication while I was still feeling disoriented. For aftercare, I received a WhatsApp contact number for any questions, and my inquiries were promptly addressed. The aftercare notes provided were helpful for my recovery. It has now been 8 weeks since my surgery, and despite minor issues, I am extremely happy with the results. I had been self-conscious about the length of my forehead for many years. After doing my research, I came across AB Plastic Surgery and decided to reach out. From the initial consultation, the team was responsive and patient, taking the time to answer my many questions and address my concerns in detail. The clinic itself is very well organised and professional, and it’s clear that they are experienced in working with international patients. Dr. Jeong was thorough, skilled, and precise, and I felt confident in his approach leading into the surgery. The procedure itself went smoothly and efficiently. The post-operative care was also attentive, and I felt reassured by the way the team monitored my condition immediately after surgery. At around one month post-operation, I am already noticing subtle but meaningful changes. The proportions of my face feel more balanced, and my forehead appears shorter and more in harmony with my other features. The difference is not drastic, but it is noticeable — my family and friends have commented that something looks different, even if they could not immediately identify what had changed. The incision is still healing, which is expected at this stage, but it is improving steadily and becoming less visible over time. I understand that the final result will continue to refine over the coming months, and I am looking forward to seeing how it settles further. I am also considering returning in the future for a small hair transplant to soften the hairline and further camouflage the scar. One area for improvement was communication regarding the post-operative stay. I was initially advised that I would be staying overnight at the clinic, so I did not arrange accommodation for that night. However, shortly after the procedure, I was informed that I would be discharged, which meant I had to make an urgent hotel booking. This was inconvenient and could have been avoided with clearer communication beforehand. Overall, I had a positive experience with AB Plastic Surgery, particularly due to the professionalism of the team and the quality of care provided. I would recommend the clinic to others considering a similar procedure.

AB Plastic Surgery - So awesome place!!!! I’ve got a Rhinoplasty at AB Plastic Surgery. And it’s been a month today! I did Alar reduction, nose bridge, nose tip and bulbous nose. Noting that I received a discount to write about my experience. I am personally happy with my results and had no unexpected complications, which is why I am giving a 5 star review. I understand that others may have different experiences depending on who they interact with, as it is quite a large clinic. I'm writing this before sending it to them, so yes this is a review by a real patient who is otherwise unafilliated. Did rhinoplasty, fat graft, forehead reduction, browbone reduction. Apologies for the variation in lighting and camera position. Forehead work: Dr. Cheung Nose: Dr. Ma The in person consult took around 4 hours in total, including tests, pictures, CT scan, and talking with the surgeons. I started talking with translators in about October over whatsapp. Sometimes there were delays in response before I came to Korea, but after I arrived and post-surgery they were always very quick to respond to any of my messages. The clinic is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. They also offered a complimentary lip filler due to doing the other surgeries. Shout out to my translator Alex for the help along the way. I was very nervous solo-tripping and not being a korean speaker. I never truly felt pressured and the staff helped me feel comfortable through the entire process. The surgeons are extremely skilled + technical and I had the option to select and research among them before hand. The stiches on my scalp and bruising on my body healed easily without complication. Recovery was pretty straight forward as well. We did deswelling laser on the second and seventh day, and hyperbaric oxygen chamber on the seventh. Stich and nasal cast removal was standard. I recommend the clinic on a l because of the professionalism among the general staff, and the two surgeons I had specifically. I can't say anything about any of the other surgeons, but I am personally very happy with my result.

Hi I’m from France and I’ve always hated the bags/dark circles under my eyes. I’ve always had them, it’s genetic, so my eyes have always looked tired. AB were always reactive via messages, the consultation was clear, there was an English interpreter available for me, and Dr. Song Cheon Ho really took the time to listen and explain everything I needed to know. I had a good feeling, and their results looked very natural and well done. He recommended an under-eye fat repositioning procedure. On the day of the surgery, I also had an English interpreter. She stayed with me from start to finish. The procedure was quick and simple. The doctor came to see me one last time, and then I left the clinic. I was alone in Korea and had no issues managing the post-operation period. There was no pain, but it’s important to know that the under-eye area is very swollen during the first week (or even 10 days), which can be a bit uncomfortable. I simply wore a surgical mask when going out. One week later, I returned to the clinic for a check-up. They also did a small treatment to help reduce the swelling. After two weeks, my face is still slightly swollen, but the final result is almost there. From any angle, the area under my eyes is FLAT, which is exactly what I wanted. I came from California to AB for my deep plane face and neck lift in Jan 2026. I LOVE my post op results. I want to give a shout out to Dr Choi who performed my surgery. He is a doctor with great skills and genuinely cares about his patient. I stayed at hospital overnight after my 6 hour surgery (I had lip lift, fat transfer, etc in addition to face and necklift), Dr Choi came checked on me twice at night to make sure I was doing ok. I saw lots of locals in AB for their cosmetic procedures which is always a good sign. My entire facelift journey went smoothly, thanks to AB staffs including interpreters, consultants and nurses. I am glad I chose AB and definitely would come back in the future if I need more procedures done.

I very recently got some surgery done at AB plastic surgery and wanted to share my experience! AB does give you a discount for writing reviews but it can be about anything regardless if your experience was bad or good. First off my experience with them was very positive. They had really great translators (I had multiple different people depending on the day) and they communicated very well on how my surgeries were going to be done and what I need to do for after care, etc. I had gotten 3-set contour Jaw, chin, and cheek bone reduction. As well as fat grafting and fat repositioning on my smile lines. Eye bags, and upper eye lids. There was a bit of waiting during my in person consultation, but there were a lot of people there so I didn’t mind. My translator also said it was peak season for them so makes sense. Facilities were super clean as well. Pro tip don’t take the elevators since they take too long, just use the escalators. I am pretty happy with my results, but I still have a lot of swelling since I am writing this 1 month post surgery so I cannot give my full opinion on how I look just yet. Overall I had a great experience and will probably go back for some minor surgeries in the future.

I wanted to share my experience because when I started researching Korean plastic surgery — especially AB clinic — I honestly couldn’t find that much detailed info. So maybe this helps someone who’s in a similar situation. For context: I had dermal fillers for about 6–7 years. At first I loved them, but over time they started migrating and making my face look worse instead of better. I eventually decided to dissolve everything and go for a more permanent solution — a facelift combined with fat transfer — instead of continuing the filler cycle. After dissolving the fillers, my skin became really saggy, much worse than I expected. I genuinely felt like I suddenly looked 20 years older. It affected my confidence a lot, and I was honestly hiding my face for about a week before flying to Korea for surgery. First impressions & communication From the moment I arrived, the service was really reassuring. I was nervous about the language barrier, but they provided a translator who spoke perfect English and helped me with everything — appointments, questions, and even emotional reassurance. That made the whole experience much less stressful. Surgery & hospital care I had a facelift plus fat transfer to restore volume more naturally after removing fillers. The surgery day, overnight hospital stay, and aftercare were handled very professionally. The staff were attentive, kind, and calming. Even though they clearly treat many patients daily, I still felt very personally cared for — almost VIP-level attention. Whenever I had questions after surgery, they answered my messages very quickly, which helped a lot during recovery when you tend to overthink everything. Recovery so far I’m currently 17 days post-op. Still swollen (totally normal), but I already feel much better in my skin compared to how I felt after dissolving fillers. I’m excited to see the final result once everything settles because I can already see positive changes despite the swelling.

Please note My doctor was Choi Jae Ik, he does not have a real self profile but I want to still share my personal experience. I always had a very saggy skin despite being young still . One of my biggest insecurities was the deep smile line around my nasalobial folds . I tried many non surgical treatments like thread lift and microneedling but unfortunately it did little to no effect. I had my consultation with Dr.Choi , he is actually well known for facelift and fat grafting. Since am young he suggested I proceed with a ponytail scarless facelift. It was truly one of the best decisions I made . The recovery was a bit though so please keep in mind that it needs a lot of patience before seeing the final results (which takes at least up to a year) , but it’s all worth it . I had NO scars post surgery.
