Ive had composite veneers for about 5 months now and havent had any issues with it until recently. A couple of days ago I started having a bad taste and smell from my mouth even though Ive been keeping a really good oral hygiene by brushing my teeth twice a day, flossing twice a day, and using mouthwash once or twice a day since Ive had them. I discovered yesterday that I have a tooth decay on my back tooth but Ive had cavities on my back tooth only before but didnt have that taste.
I can provide pictures but my teeth are basically 1.5mm long, my problem is they also dont show when I talk so I just look like I have no teeth. I have money and a car looking for someone who is a professional and wont mess me up.
Hello ! I am a 27 year old woman and considering veneers or some sort of cosmetic dentistry procedure to help correct the appearance and provide protection/support to my smile. Several years ago I was diagnosed with enamel hypoplasia which resulted in some discoloration. Unfortunately this condition is incurable and my teeth are even more prone to staining, cavities, etc. Looking for recommendations on what's the best way to give me the smile im looking for !
Hi I had Invisalign and then top 4 front teeth I had new porcelain veneers (replacing old ones) I just feel they are too yellow? A whitening cement was used to get them whiter to match my other teeth, as I had been whitening those, but I just feel they dont match?
A few years ago (5) I got porcelain veneers for my top front 6 teeth because I could not afford invisalign or braces. My dentist shaved in between my 2 top front teeth because they used to overlap and now I have a gap there (hidden under the veneers). The veneers look great but I dont like my smile. It's gummy and horse like and I have an overbite. What are my options? I'm willing to remove the veneers and start fresh but i want a 'tighter' looking smile without an overbite.
I had dental bonding done on my upper front teeth (6-11) a while ago and am now looking to replace it. So far I have had 2 consultations with two different dentists. Both dentists have voiced concerns that since veneers are fairly thin the stains from the original tooth might come through. One of the suggestions was instead of veneers have 3/4 crowns done instead. Is one procedure necessarily better than the other in this instance?
