I had 16 veneers placed 10 weeks ago, to correct my crossbite, post procedure I had pain in all my 16 teeth, 2 weeks after, pain became localized in 4-5 teeth with pressure and sensitive to cold, I had bite correction 3 times, a week between each session, now in 1 teeth where I had my crossbite, I have cold sensitivity with mild pain in pressure, the dentist advised me to wait, its been 5 weeks and cold sensitivity still there, shall I go for bite correction again or it may go on its own? Thanks
Hi! I had 10 upper veneers placed (and my teeth shaved down significantly). My concerns were that my teeth were not straight, and my arch was too narrow, My cosmetic dentist assured me he could correct all of this, which is quite obviously wrong!! Now I'm left with veneers, and still all the bite problems. I desperately want to correct it all, but I just really need to know whether anything can be done at all? Lingual braces, Invisalign, jaw surgery, I'm ready to do anything.
I have a cross bite and some crowding but overall my teeth are in great health. I'd like to avoid jaw surgery or 2 years in braces as I am in a public profession. Could I still be a candidate for no prep veneers in my top teeth to fill gaps and help my bite?
I have a cross bite that has worn my gum line down. In addition to this I have cracks in the corner of my mouth CONSTANTLY and was told that once all this is fixed and new crowns placed & 6 veneers that it will fix the problem of the corners of my mouth always cracking. Also if the 6 lower teeth remain as is in this $35,000 treatment plan how will I get a white smile if they are grayish?Anyone know if this is true about the corners of my mouth?
Hello doctors, I have a question.I have an underbite and a crossbite, which doesn't bother me a lot. What does bother me though are gaps between my bottom teeth.I also have some gaps in the upper row teeth too, but they're not visible when I talk, so the gaps in my bottom teeth are the only thing that I really want to fix. So, can veneers/crowns be placed to close tooth gaps in a person who has a crossbite/underbite? And if they can, will they make the crossbite/underbite worse than it is now?
Hello Doctors, Let's make this short and simple. I am looking to fix this one tooth I have. As you can see, it is in a cross-bite. I am perfectly find and happy with all of my other teeth. When I smile, it looks like I'm missing a tooth! I'd love to have this tooth fixed (aka brought over to the front!) in the quickest manner possible. I do have a nickel allergy. Am I able to get a porcelain veneer to fix it? How about Invisalign? Maybe remove the tooth and implant a fake one?! Thank you!
I started with a cross bite on my left side. I underwent SARPE surgery to widen my palate and then followed that with 10 months in braces. My arch and bite are corrected now, and I will be getting the braces off in a month. How long must I wait after the braces are removed to get veneers? I'm worried about the teeth shifting after veneers are placed, thus altering or damaging the appearance of the veneers. Will a new retainer (after veneers) prevent this? Thank you.
