Hi, I had veneers and crowns placed on my 12 bottom teeth. I didnt have the chance to really look at them before they were cemented and the day after I saw that the bottom teeth go up in a diagonal so my left teeth are shorter then my right (especially the canine and the teeth beside her). The question is can my doctor just shorten those teeth a little so they are similar in hight to the teeth on the other side and so my teeth wont look so lopsided? canine by about a 1 mm and the others by 0.5
I recently had emax veneers put in and I am unhappy with the result. My right canine sticks way out and I now have an overbite. I am going back to the dentist to voice my concerns. I can't pinpoint exactly what else is off. Can you help? (also, please ignore the left front tooth. That is a temp still as the final came in damaged). Thank you in advance.
I have had veneers on my top front 6 teeth for about 12 years. The right canine has started lightening near the gum line. There is no difference in the feel of the veneer there. I've heard of veneers darkening because of damage to the tooth below or a leak, but lightening? what could this be? I only noticed this recently. In the picture look at the oval shaped whiter area at the top of the tooth. Thanks in advance!
Im near 40 & tired of my uneven teeth when I smile. Is it possible to get veneers on just my incisors and canines? I like my two front teeth. Also, tooth 11 never came in! So that's a baby tooth. I've seen multiple dentists about it over the years & have been told it's solid. Think about putting a veneer on it. Don't go implant route essentially. Help!
Wondering what the best course of action would be. I have an overbite and as a child had a pallet expander so my canines could come in. One of them came in completely rotated 45 degrees. I understand braces would probably be the best option, but wondering if there is anything else (veneers etc) that could fix. Thanks for any info!
Hi, Im not so sure how I feel about my veneers. My husband thinks they are too white and too big. I think my canines look a bit weird, being long and pointy that way. I think pointy canines make one look younger but I feel mine look a bit natural compared to the rest of my teeth, but I dont know how to make it look better. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you
However, they still bother me even now that they are lower. I would like to get them removed. Is it possible to get veneers (total of 8) which would fix the high placement of my canines, and somehow get gum grafting to lower the gum ridge around that area?
protruding canine tooth, I am aware that the rest of my teeth are not completely straight but I can live with them. It is the one canine tooth that I cannot stand, it makes me so self conscious. I really want it fixed and metal braces arent really an option for me. Please tell me there is an alternative!?
I have veneers on my front 2 teeth to fill a gap. I am a nighttime grinder/clencher. I wear a night guard that was fitted by my dentist every single night. Prior to getting it, I had ground down my canine teeth and I hate the look of the flat tooth. My R canine, is shorter than my R lateral incisor and my first molar. Can I get porcelain veneers after already having them put on my 2 front teeth? I just had the front 2 done 2 years ago, so I don't want to spend the money to have all 4 done again.
Will 8 set of veneers or even dental bonding slightly fix the slant appearance when I talk? I have slight relapse on my two bottom cuspid (canine) teeth. I had braces in the past for 7 years, 1 veneer on my top tooth and another top tooth has a dental implant already placed. Since I had braces for so long, one orthodontist does not think I can qualify for Invisalign or it will be the best route since the bones in my gums have already deteriorated so much from braces.
