I have recently gotten a tattoo about 2 weeks ago and want it removed. I have heard conflicting answers about the time frame for this. One is that I have to wait about 6 weeks for the area to heal before I can start. The other is that it actually could be beneficial to act quickly before the ink sets in, or something along those lines. Is there any truth to this? Are new tattoos generally easier or harder to remove? Thanks very much!
I'd like to get the PicoSure facial done first because of concerns about potential manipulation of fillers in my face. I've never done a laser facial before and read somewhere that my face will be red and slightly swollen for 24 hours. Is that true? If that's the case, would it be okay for me to schedule my PicoSure on a Tuesday and get my fillers and Botox done on a Thursday?
I work in the corporate world so the possibility of putting my hair up is non existent now when it was a near everyday occurrence pre-tattoo. I also feel like it looks like a C, and that is the first initial of my S/O first name... I feel extra lame. It is supposed to be a crescent moon. I've read that it takes at least a month to heal before I should attempt any laser removal. How many sessions would this take to remove? I've heard mixed reviews on new tattoos being easier or harder to remove.
I recently got PicoSure in two different places, and was told different things. The 1 place said that I should do them every 6 weeks, and the 2 place said they wont do it again before the 12 weeks, they said many places tell ppl to do it every 6 weeks is just so they will pay more sessions. She said that if I'm in no rush I can wait even more, since my body will have more time to detox and get rid of the ink, can anyone tell me what would be the ideal wait between sessions? Thanks a lot.
8 days ago i had my first Picosure treatment on face nose and cheeks for freckle removal. The area was red for a couple of hours and then went back to normal. I've not really noticed any difference to the freckles. I was told that it might take 3-5 treatments but i thought i would have at least seen some improvement by now. Is this normal? Why do i have to wait 3 weeks between treatments?
Can I undergo skin rejuvenation (to target e.g. sun damage, melasma, ageing) with the PicoSure Focus Laser 2 weeks after receiving 24 units of Botox (total) to my 'crow's feet' and frown lines? Some have said I should wait 4 weeks, while others say I shouldn't have to wait at all. My first of several skin rejuv treatments with the PicoSure Focus Laser is scheduled for exactly 14 days after my Botox. I'd like to know that this won't lessen my Botox results. Thank you. (29, female, fair skin).
