I'm a Hispanic woman looking to get some sunspots and freckles removed. It was suggested that I try pico lasers and was wondering which one is better, PicoSure or PicoWay, for my skin type (Fitzpatrick IV)? From what I understand the PicoSure has one wavelength and the PicoWay has 3. Would the availability of additional wavelengths matter when dealing with freckles and sunspots and not tattoo removal?
Hello, I am a 36-year-old white female with relatively fair skin. Would Clear & Brilliant or PicoSure Skin Rejuvenation work better for enlarged pores, minor sun spots, and wrinkles prevention? I am looking for an overall skin rejuvenation. Last year, I had four Clear & Brilliant Sessions (original, not Permea) and was satisfied with the result. I wonder whether PicoSure would provide better results. Thank you! Natalia
So its been a month since my 1st PicoSure treatment. After two weeks the spots looked good almost totally gone. But now a few spots are starting to darken a little, not as dark as before treatment. Is it normal for spots to darken a little a month after your first treatment? Will a second treatment, or even a third remove the spots completely? Will the spots continue to darken even more? Or is this all the normal process of the treatment? Ive also been using HQ 4% post treatment.
Hello, Im Asian female age 46 with freckles, PIH, melasma , and sun spots. Ive tried Halo and BBL but its not cutting it all that great to lighten melasma. Ive been using kligmans creM since age 17 on my birthmark and sun spots , but its not working anymore on my melasma on cheeks which fit worse. Now, how is halo + BBL comparable to Pico lasers or KPT-532 laser for treatment of melasma in Asian skin? Which will worsen my skin or cause PIH !
Will 2nd treatment fix this? I had a pico treatment on a temple sunspot with very good results. I then had a treatment on a cheek sunspot. It's been 2 weeks. It looks like the center of the sunspot is darker but the outer part did break up a bit. Why is the center darker? Does pico bring pigment closer to surface initially? Will a second treatment break it apart?
I had about 10 treatments with a Picosure laser for my sunspots and every session the settings were made stronger than the last. Unf. the place I was going to closed down so I had to go to a different office. New derm says its necessary to use a Picosure focus lens and that Ill get better results this way. That its less irritating on skin and goes deeper. Is this correct? My spots have significantly lightened/broken up but there is still light pigment left.
