I had my first Picosure Focus treatment 2 days ago. The doctor told me that I wouldn't really see results after the 1st but should after the 2nd. What I am hoping for most is fading/elimination of age spots. I'm curious how the 2nd treatment will suddenly lighten spots when the 1st one does nothing visible. Is that your experience? Should I see the fading soon after the 2nd treatment? The doctor said my spots weren't that bad but they are spots that haven't budged for years, even with IPL.
my tattoo is black cheetah prints it cost me $250 per session not sure if they did it the right way or use the laser the right way but I don't see any results as of yet. Also I'm looking for someone a little bit cheaper.
This is being done at a respected Dr's office. My main goal is to eradicate/fade brown spots. After the 2nd one my spots were quite dark for at least 5 days. I was hopeful 2nd would produce results but nope - pics at 3rd appt proved there was MAYBE a 5% improvement overall but not even 1 age spot looked better. From my research it doesn't seem possible that after 3 treatments with this laser there would be zero improvement of any spots. If that turns out to be the case, how should I handle it?
I've received two tattoo treatments for a black tattoo, one R20 and one Picosure. R20 resulted in significant fading after 1 session. For my next treatment, the technician suggested Picosure. 3 weeks later, I've noticed no fading at all. Is Picosure less effective on black tattoos or on certain people? Is it possible that the setting on the machine was too low? Does it take longer than 3 weeks to see any change? I'm reluctant to continue with Picosure after such a poor result.
I've had 3 picosure sessions done and so far my black ink tattoo is not fading. The technician stared at 50% the last 2 sessions and then upped it to 100% but it did nothing to my tattoo. I thought picosure is one of the best lasers and it has a high success rate but I am very discouraged. Can you tell me what might be going on?
So far I've had 2 Q-switched and 2 Picosure treatments on a black line-work tattoo that is just under a year old. I've noticed only a tiny amount of fading after 4 treatments total. Is my tattoo resistant to laser removal? Could it be that the technician is not using the right settings?
Since 1,5 year I suffer from hyperpigmentation on my lower lip. Most likely this has been caused through lip biting in combination with full sun exposure (I know, very stupid..). One month ago I had a Pico laser session. However, I don't see any improvement. I know more laser sessions could be needed. However I am doubting if laser treatment would be best for this kind of pigmentation, what would you think? Perhaps better to treat it with a medical creme? Any suggestions?
