I have been looking to get laser mole removal due to a few small, dark colored moles on my face. However I am concerned about the risks of scarring after laser treatment. I have heard the pico lasers are better but am still concerned about scarring and if I had either hypo/hyperpigmentation is there anything I could do (topical) to treat if I scarred after laser? I am a teenage female and don't want to look worse after. I am also asian so I know scarring is more common.
Hello there. I have done pigmentation laser using Pico for my 2 dark spots around my eyes last week..exactly 7 days ago. The scabs has peeled off but now I realise that the skin is still dark. I have consulted my dermatologist yesterday and he said I need to wait further for full results. How long I need to wait as I'm kinda worried. I am an Asian with mix parentage (Chinese-Indian) so my doctor said Pico is the best for my skin n assured one treatment is enough for me. Shall I be worried?
Hello, Im Asian female age 46 with freckles, PIH, melasma , and sun spots. Ive tried Halo and BBL but its not cutting it all that great to lighten melasma. Ive been using kligmans creM since age 17 on my birthmark and sun spots , but its not working anymore on my melasma on cheeks which fit worse. Now, how is halo + BBL comparable to Pico lasers or KPT-532 laser for treatment of melasma in Asian skin? Which will worsen my skin or cause PIH !
Hi, I recently began a big polynesian style tattoo on the outside of one of my arms. I'm seriously regretting the decision as I can now see how overpowering the design will be on my body and wish I never started it! I've researched into some different forms of tattoo removal and picosure seems the most effective; I am half asian so I have slightly darker skin and the tattoo is very fresh - how much will this effect the results and sessions? Thanks in advance (photo's attached)
Im an Asian woman in my mid forties . Got a laser burned mustache from having an IPL treatments. Then the doctors office did few more Picosure treatments to try to treat my burned mustache. After 4 times of the treatment there are no sign of improvement, then I switch to Tri-Luma (4%hydroquinone) for 2 months. There are no difference on my slightly blistered mustache burn. The Dr. suggested to do more Picosure treatments. What do you think I should do now?
I am contemplating on which clinic to go to, one is using Picosure but is not a doctor (Andrea Catton Clinic - Lancashire,UK) and the other uses a Q Laser, but is a reputable cosmetic surgeon. I am southeast Asian, my skin is more a combination of the yellowish and olive tone - BUT I tan myself on a regular basis (not sure if this is useful info). Which device should work best for my skin?
I have dermal pigmentation due to chemical peels. I have been using topical agents like Iklen and Skinoren for a few month now and considering Revlite or picosure now. which would be the best choice? Thanks for your answer in advance.
