Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Abdominoplasty is a procedure that Dr. Stratis performs in order to improve the contour of the tummy area. It is designed to remove excess skin and fat and tighten the underlying muscles. It is not designed to remove any wrinkles or cellulite in the skin nor any stretch marks unless they are taken out in the skin that is removed.

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, usually with an overnight hospital stay. The patient may return to full activities in 6 weeks. The procedure is long lasting and permanent in nature as long as the patient maintains a healthy lifestyle. Although we cannot offer any guarantees, patients all will have a significant improvement after abdominoplasty.
