This 41-year-old woman opted for bilateral mastectomy for treatment of her breast cancer. She did have breast implants for augmentation several years ago, which made her a great candidate for a single-stage immediate implant breast reconstruction with silicone cohesive "gummy bear" implants. After photos show excellent size, shape, and contour of her reconstructed breasts. She had minimal pain and no change in mobility or strength following this procedure. She is very content that she will not require any additional procedures for reconstruction of her breasts.
